a young cashier who is regularly there a couple of times a week seems new to the job and receives no help as every time I notice he is there alone and has no idea what he’s doing. He takes around 10 minutes trying to figure out how to check out customers if they’re only buying one to three items which eventually creates a super long line and not only frustrates me but other customers as well. As a former cashier one shouldn’t take more than 2 minutes checking out a customer with less than 15 items. I then had to call to get her attention. Then another guy was waiting at the counter to play lottery and that lady was cleaning the coffee machine. I mean we get you guys are busy but don’t take the customers kindness for weakness. We wait patiently for you to wrap up what you’re doing not for you to complete the whole task. There were no customers that were being helped but several customers had walked in. Need to be more attentive. I stop in to fill up my gas on my lunch break with the expectation of getting in and out. I had walked out without getting gas because had she not took so long cleaning the coffee machine the guy that had lottery would have been...
