Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Indiana

This place is terrible. Went there on a Sunday night. They may have had 20 people with two waitresses. It took 10 minutes to get our order in and another 30 minutes to get our food. The food was cold when it arrived at our table. I sent the order back (as it states to do in their menu). It then took another 15 minutes after that to fry up some wings. The two sauces I had were the Caribbean Jerk and Medium. The Medium was a standard Medium sauce. It wasn't too bad. However the Jerk was the worst Jerk I've ever tasted. All that I could taste was Ketchup. The loaded fries weren't any better. They were loaded with grease and that's about it. If you order them, you might as well forget the cheese, bacon, and sour cream. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody that I value as a friend. Spend your money where it counts. Goto B-Dubs. (Which is cheaper)

I have given this place 3 chances to get it right, and it failed 3 times. The wing sauces and ranch are watery. The sauce actually tastes like they added ketchup to it the 2nd time I went. The food isn't the only thing that sucks, the service does too. After paying $2.39 for an iced tea, it never got refilled. Also, they weren't busy at all (I wonder why) and it took almost 20 minutes to place the order. Seriously, there were 3 tables filled plus us.

Again, the bad thing is that it happens every time we go. Will not go back.... EVER

Quality control and inconsistency with the food. We used to go here at least twice a week. We started noticing huge inconsistencies in the food and drinks. Sometimes the wings would be swimming in sauce so much so that you would have to pour the sauce off to find the wings. Other times the same order and virtually no sauce at all. The salads always seem to have brown slimy lettuce in them and are never the same.

The sandwiches are subpar compared to other places. The burgers seem to be some frozen patty they cook.

They have huge long islands on special weekly. What they don’t tell you is they use nonalcoholic triple sec. That’s not the end of the world but when we seen them use it and mentioned it the bartender denied it. Well a few minutes later another bartender in training was making one and asked what to use. The bartender told her to use the nonalcoholic triple sec. Also it’s all cheap well brands of alcohol, but for th price one can’t complain.

Just irritating that the bartender lied about it. They also quite frequently mess up orders.

I also seen the owner outside of there. He was at my place of employment doing business and he was extremely rude and curt. To the point of being condescending. Even bragging that he owned wings etc. and was in a hurry. After that, it all makes sense now, the subpar service and food. It trickles down from the top. Rude snobby owner, rude could care less staff.

Decided to give it another try since my wife loves their food much. She ordered 20 bone-in wings over the phone which was clearly confirmed by both parties on the line. Upon arrival at the pickup window we were greeted by a kind young man who promptly began fulfilling our order. Shortly after his departure to ascertain our delicious fried poultry the manager appeared the window inquiring whether or not we had been served then she proceeded to push buttons on the computer at the window. A few moments after she left another employee walked by and yelled “has anybody taken care of the window!?” Shortly later the managed loudly proclaimed “Wyatt!” Which I can only assume was an attempt to hurry along her employee. After this chaotic show of failure to communicate we were given our food by the nice young man we learned to be the fabled Wyatt. Unfortunately upon arrival at our domicile we discovered what was received was a far inferior product of boneless wings at the unusual count of 24.

In all, I can only blame myself for not emailing the owner a more detailed story of my prior disappointing experience. Perhaps one day with more effective management there can be less chaos and more fulfilling service. That day unfortunately was not today.
