Every little small town in the US is pretty corrupt but none as bad as this town. This town DOES NOT care about it’s residents or anyone for that matter. Time and time again, politicians and city workers are greedy thieves that pocket so much money at little to no effort. Instead of listening to it’s people the city goes against them and continues to build more condominiums which in turn makes the parking situation worse. You could easily spend 6 hours looking for parking and be left with no choice but to park illegally and then pay $61 because you had no choice. Build parking lots/structures not condos. Invest in your people not yourselves.

Aside from parking, the streets are so dirty. There’s trash everywhere especially in the spring when the snow begins to melt and you see all the stuff DPW has lazily swept under snow as if it’s someone magically going to disappear.

Another huge problem is the gentrification, which goes hand in hand with all the new condos going up. While this is a very convenient place to live in relation to NYC, the city needs to prioritize it’s own residents over the rude, disrespectful out of towners moving in. And if you happen to be one of these gentrifiers— listen up! some of us have been here our entire lives. If you come here, you need to respect us. Gentrification drives up the cost of living for everyone and it pushes original residents out.

Residents: If you’re sick of this town and how horrible it’s gotten, get out there and run for office, campaign for honest, genuine people, vote but don’t just sit on Facebook groups and complain about it. Change happens from movements, not bickering.

Bottom line is this: This town has been on a steady decline for years. It’s overpopulated, dirty beyond all comprehension, an embarrassment to everyone, and a greed...

Reckless abulance drivers. My vehicle was hit by a West New York Abulance while parked at a hospital!!!! It has been over 3 months and it's still "under review". Like being in the hospital before Christmas wasn't bad enough, this careless driver makes it this much worse and the City seems to be dragging their feet in order to help get my vehicle fixed!!! SMH!! Disgraceful!!!!!! 3 months and still no results, meanwhile my vehicle is still damaged and if situation was vice versa, I would have been held liable! Mean while I get no help and police report CLEARLY states driver...

I can't believe I came 4 days ago to file a complaint at this place, to pick it up 4 days later, now I have to come back 4 days later to take the complaint to court and I live 45 minutes from this place and 40 minutes from the court, they have no professionalism, these police officers who write these documents don't know how to work, send them to...
