Similar experience to another reviewer: Was pleasantly surprised in the past by the quality of the bubble tea here, since a lot of local places have mushy or hard pearls and overly sweet and artificial tasting drinks. However, my order today was absolutely tasteless, with almost no tea flavor or color. Seems like just water and half and half with a slightly powdery undertone, and mushy pearls. It is literally almost white. For $6.50 for a medium, I am extremely underwhelmed, and likely will never go back.
Service was fine except that the first employee at the register only spoke Spanish, and I don't remember enough to order this type of thing in Spanish, so I had to wait for another employee to come take my order in English.
The interior also has zero table or counter seating. I was hoping to sit for a little while and get something done on my laptop, but no dice. There are just three hard wood chairs against a wall, and two bar height upholstered chairs facing each other almost knee-to-knee in a narrow space in front of the window. How can anyone sit in these seats? They're useless for...
Read moreAtmosphere, setting, and product do Not match the prices. Expect to spend more than $10 on 2 drinks. Literally come here with a $20 even alone, everything is overpriced for no reason lol. The desserts are literally the size of a clementine but are in the $4-$6 range. Disappointing because the boba tea is actually sort of nice here . They need to work on their flavoring and the freshness of the boba pearls Immediately. The boba pearls are almost ALWAYS clumped together in one gelatinous blob. I used to make boba tea constantly, this never happens with fresh boba, someones letting it sit around too long...
Yeah no, I stopped getting boba here when I realized how much cheaper it is to just walk a few more blocks up. Also shaking the cup doesn’t do anything to get rid of those giant blobs of boba. Literally just have to eat it as is or toss it. Can’t believe you just called boba tea healthy haha. I was born and raised here, I know overpricing when I see it. Lesson: respect your money because...
Read moreAlthough their drinks are good, they really need to work on their membership/rewards programs. When you think of a reward, there shouldn’t be no exclusions or loopholes to using them, except today was not that case. My order consisted of 2 drinks and they were good except my $2 off reward couldn’t be used under the same transaction. I was told that, “I don’t know how to take $2 off with both of them under the same transaction.” Which shouldn’t be an excuse if they were trained properly. That doesn’t sound like a problem except they apply tax on them separately. This also reminded me of the last time I tried to use that promo when I couldn’t, because the manager wasn’t there. Which is still not an issue but they should really trained their staff accordingly and follow through with their rewards program. I’ll be back soon because I remember when they use to punch cards for free drinks which had no...
