So before I can get into the meats and potatoes of dealing with this location or at least trying to again some years back when I first relocated to South Florida bought a battery from this location which hey easy in easy out for a 95 Honda Civic hatchback with a full gsr conversion hadn't even broke it in clean yet at that time, the kid was so excited just to see the car and wanted to install the battery even though I stated I'll take home and do it he pushed the fact that he wanted to do it for me which I took as a respect thing so I let him. Needless to say my car caught fire by the time I pulled to the curb to get on the street, the young man put the cables on the wrong terminals which was what started the fire which had been investigated and done three insurance needless to say thank you AutoZone. It's at this point I call not realizing it was the same location that has employees who aren't even packing basic knowledge that basically screwed up my vehicle to begin with, but hey times have past maybe the service and everything has gotten better (assumption made that every now and again of going to an autozone you meet someone who actually knows what he/she is talking about). Anyway I call I get a prompt answer which I'm think awesome this will be cake... starting a new leaf with this company. The first guy just didn't understand English to save himself which you can imagine speaking clear and proper English to him I might as well should have tried slang because he handed me off o someone else he stated he couldn't understand me...lol in which I asked the new representative if he could clearly understand me he stated yes so I then asked how mechanically inclined he is due to that past experience and a few along the way and it was stated he's sales. I then proceed to inquire if they had anyone working there who has a decent knowledge on cars verses pulling up things on a CPU (Clearly in this age with technology you can do that yourself) I will say he was curtious in asking if I'd give him a chance to win me back; however, I respectfully declined due to past issues with dealing with autozone and there members literally really knowing nothing about cars but would tell you what they'd recommend to use which I'd basically the same info google and bing and whatever search engines/forums are out there. This went on with him trying to convince me to try him which if you are in anyway a manly man like myself your really not into toying with the words try and let me see what I can do, you want precise and a direct answer reguadless of what the outcome will be and handle it from there accordingly. I believe the service member may have felt offended bc it was then you can tell in his tone and the rush to get me off that evidently he didn't like what was being stated. There was no derogatory remarks made for this individual to be as they would say in his feelings about what I'm requesting and the reasons why behind it. Needless to say he disconnected the call. This is my officially done with Autozone and it's affiliates altogether, if I have to pay extra money to the dealer to get the parts I need or have to by from aftermarket companies like skunk2, mishimoto then I'd rather invest in the service and quality of parts that I'm getting then to keep trying with a company that clearly has forgotten what there in the business for and how to deal and treat people respectfully. STOP HIRING PEOPLE WHO CLEARLY HAVE NO LOVE OR UNDERSTANDING FOR THE MACHINES THERE IN BUSINESS TO SUPPORT; STOP HIRING THESE TYPES BECAUSE THERE CLEAN ON PAPER AND GIVE IT TO REAL ENTHUSIASTS WHO ACTUALLY WILL ENJOY WHAT THEY DO EVEN IF ITS JUST SWEPING THE...
Read moreVery helpful location! Usually I go into an auto parts store and there’s no friendliness or extra help, not with this store! I originally went there for a dead battery and they were extremely helpful in providing options and changed it for me very quickly.
I figured out the next day I also needed an alternator (which had killed my new battery). I ordered the alternator for my car online since it was the fastest option (I have an older car and it’s not made OE anymore). I didn’t have a ride up to the store since I just moved here and didn’t want to shell out money for an Uber.
I called the store and double checked if I could return the dead battery under warranty if I bought a new one online to be delivered next day so I could get my car up and running to be somewhere the following day. The lady at the store said “no problem”.
Now in all fairness, I ordered the battery right before the same-day delivery cutoff, but got the confirmation that it would be delivered. When it was 10 mins prior to the store closing and I hadn’t received my battery, I called the store and spoke to Fabian. He was extremely courteous and apologetic. He looked up my account with me only mentioning my name on the introduction when answering the phone. Fabian spoke to the manager in my behalf and explained everything to him (meaning I didn’t have to repeat the whole situation over). He stated the manager, David knew what was going on and for me to call in the morning so they could get it on the commercial truck for delivery.
The next morning comes and I overslept and woke up to a knock at the door at 9am to a brand new battery delivered!! I didn’t even have to call! I know all this probably sounds silly, but I have so much going on right now that just this little extra from the store with being kind and proactive, went a long way in my eyes as a consumer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Auto Zone at 1722 Military Trail in west palm and...
Read moreI have never in my life went to a store where I've witnessed so many complains while standing in line . Listening to all of these people asking for help and the attitudes that they are getting back are just pathetic. its finally my turn and I explain that I bought a light that I don't believe is working or it could be my car . Fernando the customer service rep did not take a second to listen to what I was saying to understand . He cut me off started as soon as I started speaking , I then said that i came here before and a gentleman came out to help me with the same problem on my other car . He said no they do not do that . I said so your telling me this gentleman went out of his way to help me before he said we do not do that with a nasty attitude as if i did something to him . So before leaving unhappy there was another customer service rep by the name of Pedro that interfered and said i get off in one moment i would be more then happy to help you . Thank god for people like him in this world, he deserves a better job where he can show his talent and treat people just as good in a better environment. Horrible service !!!! Thank you Pedro they need to fire everyone and rehire everyone even the women manager was...
