Book Nook — Local services in West Plains

Almost nothing to me ever gets a perfect 100%, but I assure you this place has a solid 4.999999 out of 5. I do not personally know the owner; I only know him from being a customer. He his very friendly, knows what he is talking about, and will hand out deals to help you left and right. There is a lady who works there; she is very sweet and helpful.. Don't expect her to know as much as the owner (I mainly purchase MTG products), but she is still very nice and will do everything in her ability to help you.. the only one reason I didn't give 5 stars comes down to my own preference. I do not run a business, and there is probably a good reason I don't run any businesses because I can not deal with disrespectful people very well. A large number of customers.. I'd say at least 75% (and that doesn't say much because honestly, I'm not in there much) are very rude and disrespectful. Not the owners fault. But technically, just as we are judged by the company we keep... So...

Amazing shop for the area. Professional which is atypical in "this neck of the woods". I have to agree with the individual's comment below that there is a nice selection but it can be hard to find exactly what you are looking for. They buy CD, DVDs for cash. They give you store credit for used books when you trade in your old books. The employees are always very eager to help and they end up being very helpful and enjoyable to talk with.
