This particular review has more to do with the on Campus Book Store than the actual school itself. So here is my review of that. Stay Away from the Drago College Book Store! Reasons why: If you want to purchase a textbook for a class, The Drago College Book Store website will show the book is in stock, but when you go up there to buy it.... guess what.... chances are that they have run out of the book you wanted. Which means, they don't synchronize their online databases with the real in-stock items as often as they should. When you go up there with the intentions of purchasing a textbook, there are no indications in the store that you must first start at the back counter for them to find and hand you the correct textbook to then bring up to the front registers. If you mix up this order, the elderly women that work there will give you hard time for going out of order. -_- If you ask how much a certain item costs, the same elderly women mentioned earlier, will give you an attitude for asking and will not bother to look it up to verify. Their return policy is trash, buyer beware! If you buy a used textbook, you only have up to 4 full days to return for a full refund. And even then, they will only allow a refund transaction to take place only if you dropped the class from your schedule. That being said, this bit of information is not stated in the Blue Slip (handout) labeled "Textbook Refund Policy" given to you after every transaction. The elderly ladies that are employed there need better customer service skills.

Ways this establishment can improve: Update online databases/maintain the Drago College Book store more frequently The elderly ladies that are employed need to resign/retire from their current positions. A better workflow of how customers go about buying textbooks in person. Being able to quote customers how much an item costs if they are curious. (Seriously! That's like retail store management/entrepreneurship 101) It doesn't have to be a print out every time but at least turn the register monitor around to show the people a price! Return Policy needs to be addressed/rewritten/reworked to include something about the scenario I mentioned earlier in this Google Review.

Pro-Tip: If you must insist in purchasing a textbook from here, my recommendation would be to call ahead and ask if the textbook(s) is/are in-stock before making the trip. Final Thoughts: If I could 0 star this thing, I would. I hope this helps someone out there. I challenge those from the MSU-WP staff/faculty Management Team(s) that over looks the Drago Book Store brick & mortar location and Store Website to read this and then then take appropriate action to help improve customer/student experiences. Bottom line, if your quarterly profits for this business show a decline in business over the recent years, perhaps you can start here. But then again, these are just my...

This school doesn't even deserve a star. I wasted my time coming here for a semester for them to never apply my financial aid or A+. I was constantly in and out of the business department even months after the semester ended fighting with them to have my education covered and to come back, but no one cared enough to help me. They Always sent me to a student for help and they couldn't even help me. They continued to send me the same paper work I had already turned in. They screwed my fiancé over the same way, repetitively sending him the same paper work he had sent in until he finally dropped out. He didn't have time to fight with them between his work schedule. The only time they wanted him to come in was when he was working and no other time would do. This school has screwed over so many people that I know. They have billed my friends for things they advertise as free and no one seems to know how to do their job, seeing as students run the whole operation. They have great teachers here, but unless you're paying out of pocket for your entire education here, I'd advise you to go some where else. I made 100 mile round trips four times or more a week to this place and have nothing to show for it but an empty wallet and a tore-up car. I didn't have the money to begin with to even DRIVE to college let alone the bill they sent me at the end of the samester for over $2000 or the $800 I had to spend on books from this place. This is a sad excuse for a school. It's a rip off and I wish I never would have even started school here and just went straight into the military. It's sad when an 18/19 year old girl thinks it's easier to go into the military than to...

Missouri State University-West Plains lacks effective and decisive leadership at the top. Therefore, it will continue to have a decline in enrollment unless and until a chancellor and academic dean are selected who can move the institution forward. The faculty, staff, students and community are amazing and deserve much better. The lack of nontraditional students on this campus is a telling sign of a failure to respond to the workforce needs of local business and industry. No two-year college can sustain itself on dual-credit (tuition-free) enrollment. Unless these and other issues can be resolved, I would highly recommend exploring another two-year college in the area such as Three Rivers College, Ozarka College, Ozarks Technical Community College or Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. These institutions are much more responsive to the needs...
