B's Place Event Venue — Local services in West Salem

Had my wedding here on 9/26/25. I found B’s place using wedding wire I believe. I live in Oshkosh but was willing to have my wedding in west Salem due to this venue. I had my reception here, and the men and women got ready here in the morning the day of. I had toured the venue 2 and a half years ago. Had an original wedding date of 10/4/24. When I rescheduled it, Stephanie was happy to do so without any fees. I emailed with Stephanie quite a bit up to 6 months before the wedding. We had our meeting via phone as the date got closer. Still had things to pin down after that meeting and I asked if I could text her and she was happy to do so. I texted her frequently for quick questions or requests. Everything was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted and envisioned. Stephanie was so welcoming, kind, helpful and supportive. I met her husband for the first time the day before the wedding and he was so sweet and helpful as well! At one point I did consider canceling my wedding all together and she offered me an option where I what lose all of my down payment, which is an option for everyone. None of my guests complained about the venue, parking, restrooms, bar options. Nothing! It was all phenomenal. I did opt in for the top shelf open bar but used outside catering and everything went smoothly. No complaints or hiccups or issues from any party involved. Stephanie also let us store our cakes and cocktail hour snacks in the cooler the night before the wedding because we didn’t have anywhere else to store them. The bentzens are so sweet and you’d be foolish not to book your wedding here! We also did s’mores on our wedding night and it was a beautiful add on :) I would do my reception here again and again and again. Thank you Dave and Stephanie! This was the one and only wedding venue that my husband and I looked at. It checked all the boxes! Stephanie was a joy to plan and work with to make the day of our dreams. A huge plus was the bride and groom suites upstairs that we used to get ready the day of. We had the ceremony and reception all inside and it worked wonderfully. The transition was flawless and quick. They have a nice outdoor area where we took most of our pictures with the exposed brick and spiral staircase. Plenty of parking, beautiful location, wonderful communication. Stephanie was great and on it with everything! This was our venue for both ceremony and reception. We originally planned for outside ceremony, inside reception but due to 90+ degree weather and storms we decided to take it inside. Stephanie and her staff handled it beautifully! My guests told me it took about 10min and they barely noticed as they were by the bar for cocktail hour. The venue is GORGEOUS.
