Previous to a recent experience I loved Cinda Lou, they had a great vintage selection and it was always fun to browse. I’ve lived in Westerville for years and have frequented this store quite often. However, a recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to Cinda Lou. My friend and I were browsing the store and while she was checking out we were both accused of stealing. We were accused with no real proof, just speculation. We told the man working that he is free to check our bags and that we didn’t take anything, and we were met with annoyance and a rude attitude. If I could give 0 stars I would seeing as the man who runs this store loves to racially profile people, and unjustifiably accuse people of stealing. My girlfriend and I have been regulars at this store for YEARS and today the owner decided to come up to my girlfriend and accuse her of stealing an air freshener when he has her on camera putting it back. After publicly embarrassing her and degrading her he only chose to apologize once our family started calling in to the store and calling him out on his disgusting behavior.
