Doug and Beth from Blindworks were very helpful, responsible and ethical, and we are very satisfied with our blinds. At first we ordered roller shades instead of blinds. Doug was much better at finding the colors we were looking for than we were! When Doug came out to give an estimate I asked if he could stay that same day and remove all the old hardware from my many windowframes so that I would have a weeks time to sand and paint the frames before he installed the new ones. He agreed and did this work on the spot. When the rollershades arrived Doug determined that they had been shipped without the proper hardware. He tried to install them with alternative hardware and when this solution didn't work he suggested we install blinds instead of roller shades. Even though the price of the blinds would have been higher Doug offered us blinds for every room for no additional cost above what we would have paid for the roller shades. Great customer service! I purchased blinds there around 10 or more years ago, and the mounting bracket eventually wore out due to use. They were able to find replacement parts for me even though it is a pretty old model.
