Root 31 — Local services in Westfield

We stopped in here this past Sunday after my friend recommended Root 31, and I have a feeling I’m about to become a frequent visitor/customer. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner (I believe her name is Angela! If I’m wrong I am so sorry!) and she was an absolute joy. I had a lot of questions as a beginner in plant ownership, and she was kind, passionate, and very informative about her plants. What I love even more is that she grows every plant she sells in her own greenhouse, and you can tell she puts a lot of love and care into her beautiful plants. I got the cutest little whale planter and snake plant during my visit, and I’m already itching to go back and make another purchase! This is the type of place that will compel you to go home, and right your first ever review. It's so good. If you love houseplants and want a real selection of rare houseplants, come here. The Howes Depot type stores don't hold a candle to the selection that this little store has. It is packed to the gills with amazing plants, planters, gifts, decor etc.

If you are new to houseplants, just go in and grab one of them from the back and ask for some advice. They're busy so be patient! But they've forgotten more about houseplants than...

After spending a lot of money over time at this store, I am at the point where I will not be spending another dime there. One negative interaction ok, but this second time made me feel like I was very unwelcome in the store. I asked a simple question after being told what time to come back by an employee (even told me what to expect), I didn't ask for rudeness or attitude. A simple no would've sufficed.
