This was our first ever visit to Smoothie King and not where we had planned to get our sweet treat from this evening. Safe to say, this was one of the best customer service experiences I've had in quite a while! My 3 year old wanted an "orange" smoothie and decided on mango and pineapple and I chose the Caribbean Way. Well he decided he didn't like his and wanted to trade. Eva overheard the conversation and offered to make him something else, but I declined. She then brought us a cup with what I'm guessing was the leftover from my original drink so I might enjoy some of it 🥰 We finished our visit and went to the car to find we had a flat tire! We were waiting on roadside assistance and Eva brought out a cup of water (it was pretty warm out today) for us. Shortly after the smoothie and water hit and the little guy needed a potty break. Eva told us we were welcome to wait inside until we got taken care of; even if they had to close before that (it was a little after 8 at the time). Within the past three days I have gone there with my family to get smoothie and have been appalled by the staffs attitude. First of all, they have repeatedly messed up on our order and treat us as if we were the stupid one (but they were in fact the incompetent ones because they were the ones behind the blender). I have repeatedly experienced the staff giving looks of disgust and pride on their face. This staff is much too young and needs to obviously be put in check for their attitudes by a manager or supervisor that knows how to treat customers with respect. When we pulled up to the drive-thru, we noticed an upgrade available on our mobile app and wanted to see if we could apply it to our order. Our smoothie bowl and smoothie weren’t ready yet, so when the lady asked for payment, we asked if we could use the upgrade. She told us “no” without explanation. When we asked why, she said it was because we ordered a 20 oz and would have needed to order a 32 oz to qualify for the upgrade.
