Lincoln Square Pancake House — Restaurant in Westfield

Such a disappointment. Food was not even room temp. The plates that our food was served on was warmer than the food itself. Stomach is turning just thinking about what I am going to share with you.

The second bite of food that my husband took had a big piece of plastic in it (must have been under the biscuits and gravy). When he pulled the piece of plastic out of his mouth it looked like a half of a plastic straw that wrestled with the garbage disposal. Just so disgusting. Both of our appetites we're shoot. When this was brought to our servers attention he was so casual about it, he asked him if he wanted something else to eat, husband just looked at him, "no", server said, "how about some toast?" I am laughing now but what person wants to eat anything from a kitchen that had a mangled piece of plastic in your breakfast!? Server left and said, "I'll take care of this."

I'm thinking a team lead or manager was going to come over and apologize. Nope. Server came back to let us know that my husband's breakfast was taken off the bill, like he had done us a favor. We were furious.

Neither of us had ever experienced a foreign object in our food before but we had both expected the situation to be handled differently. I don't know how the conversation went with the manager and my husband but she took care of my meal I couldn't eat and two coffees that we didn't even drink.

We are still on the lookout for our go-to breakfast. Sadly, Lincoln Square Pancake House will never be given a...

The first time we visited the Westfield location it was very crowded, but the food and service was really good. Stopped in today a little more than an hour before closing. Two of us ordered the Lincoln Square Pancake Combo that is supposed to come with 4 pieces of bacon...we only received 2 on each combo. Asked for the additional pieces and, who we assume was the manager, brought out 4 pieces, nearly raw. Asked for it to be crispy like the original pieces and she returned with the same 4 pieces, now clearly having been microwaved. The over-medium eggs on one combo also came to us almost raw on one side, less cooked than even over-easy. The pancakes on both orders were also cold, so both of us who ordered that combo only ate half. Finally, the Mac and cheese burger the third person in our party ordered was supposed to come with a special hot sauce, but it was dry. We have visited the Fortville location many times and have never been unhappy with the food or service. Perhaps our visit today to Westfield was a fluke, or perhaps they were just looking forward to closing time. Either way, we will stick with the one in Fortville...

So honestly speaking, its an ok place. It was my first time there and may be it just didn't go well for me. So there is two sections to this place, one includes the booths and the other has the tables. So we were seated at tables section which was not very appealing since the floors were dirty with dust and food. So I ordered the veggie omelette and it looked good at first but two bites in I found peaces of meat in my omelette. I thought I mistaked them for tomatoes so I asked the server for clarification but even she confirmed that it was meat. So she said, that a manager will speak to me which never happened. She just came back and said it was off my bill. I was still left hungry with no sense of remorse shown. Also, they could ease it up a bit to accept payments at the table which causes you to wait in long line during checkout and it's not safe specially during these times. This is my honest review, so regulars will still go there but for those first timers this could be a useful...
