Westfield Liquors — Local services in Westfield

I go to this liquor store several times a week. Whether it be for myself or a customer. I have never had a problem until today. I don't know who the man was in the parking lot but he was very rude confrontational and argumentative. I spent close to $60 in the store. I bought a nip of a particular kind of liquor and took a small sip before I got in the passenger side of the vehicle. And this man with red hair came over yelling and telling us we can never come back again. The driver was not drinking and had nothing to do with it. The man kept getting in the driver's face and threatening him. I explained to him that if he has a problem it is with me not the driver but this man would not let it go. Kept repeating himself over and over and talking to us like we were stupid. He got right up in the driver's face and when I went to walk in between them he started yelling "Don't touch me". The whole thing was shocking. When here I was taking a tiny sip deciding whether I wanted to buy a bottle or not. Then he's threatening to call the cops and have the driver arrested for drunk driving. We were just shocked by the whole thing and I know it's on camera. We were there about 4:30 today. And as a regular customer I am extremely disappointed and sure hope they are not paying this man to treat customers that way. I see people sitting in the parking lot with their alcohol all the time. I am not one of those people. All he could say was get off my property now, I'm calling the cops, you are trespass and not allowed here. But the amount of money I spend there every week it was quite disappointing. Any suggestions on a better...

I feel people should be aware of the employees there. I was gonna call the owner but I doubt it will go anywhere. I bought a 4 pack of my grapefruit beer for 5 something, a five dollar ticket and 2, 2 dollar scratch. Gave Trevor a 20 dollar bill and he had no intention of giving change. I asked where receipt was he says it came to 19.99. Left for a minute checked my bag, no receipt. But If you do the math my total was definitely not 19.99. Came back in the store to complain...Trevor said my bad and gives me back 4 dollars. Pretty sure after deposit he still owed 70 cents but at least got most of it back. Stay away! Rude incompetent customer service and bad quality control. Bought 6 bottles of wine to get the special 10% off. Guy didn’t ring it up correctly… rang it up again and came up with a higher price. I said “never mind the discount,” paid for it. Then when I got home the first bottle was spoiled. So I took it back along with the other unopened bottle of same wine, same vintage. Now the teller claims they have a no returns policy on anything. Then he says “ no way to tell if the wine came from this store” … basically an insult. In the next breath he says, “ We sell a lot of that wine and never had any trouble with it. Nothing I can do.” BS. They simply don’t stand behind what they sell. Never going...
