Overall a fairly decent experience at Apna Bazar. The prices were good and we left with a lot of food for and a low ticket. Also there were a ton of vegetarian and even vegan (labeled) items. I appreciate that the meat department was in a separate room so shoppers don’t have to be around it if that makes them uncomfortable. Most of the things we tried were delicious and the store was clean. Parking was ample. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. The cashier did smile at us when we walked in, which was appreciated, however none of the other employees would even acknowledge us while we were shopping until we checked out with a full cart. We didn’t really feel welcomed in the store, honestly, which was a bit of a bummer as we were really excited to be there. We were super excited about there being a restaurant inside as well because we love Indian food, but the server seemed very annoyed with having to talk to us. He said there was no vegan food either, so we ended up not ordering. I know a ton of Indian food is inherently vegan, so we were pretty surprised. We also bought a few items that ended up being bad, despite the fact that they hadn’t expired yet. Finally, I would love to see an improved produce section. I really believe this store is just adjusting because they opened recently and anticipate they will work out the kinks. We will continue shipping here and wish...
Read moreWhen I walked in, the first thing that hit was the strong aroma of floor cleaner. The store is very clean, but the aroma of the cleaner was too strong. My friend and I went to the restaurant inside the grocery store. We sat for a good 5 minutes before a wait person brought us the menu. Everything on the menu was a la carte. There wasn't a meal. Which meant everything you ordered had a separate price. We ordered tea, which came in a small disposable cup. The naan was very thin, not the thicker rounds of bread that I've had at virtually every Indian restaurant I've eaten at. The total for 2 small teas, 4 rounds of naan, a butter chicken, a bowl of rice, and another chicken dish was $58! The server never came by and asked if we needed anything or if the food was okay. He served the food and didn't come back. The food was okay, I've had better. The service needed improvement and the aroma of the floor cleaner was so strong I wanted to run out...

The store is clean, bright, and well-stocked with a wide variety of Indian groceries—from fresh produce and spices to frozen foods and snacks. You’ll find everything you need for authentic home cooking.
We also tried the food, and it was incredible! The Chole Bhature was fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor, and the Pav Bhaji was buttery, spicy, and just like the street food back in India. Everything tasted homemade and authentic.
The service was outstanding—friendly, fast, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about the customer experience. Whether you’re looking to shop or enjoy a quick, delicious Indian meal, this new spot is definitely worth...
