I loved coming to this store, it’s clean, well stocked, and the products are in well marked aisles, but my experience with the staff has been extremely disappointing. This morning, I shopped around with my family. Two adults and one teenager. We were followed the entire time. It wasn’t the sort of situation that could be misinterpreted, because we walked across the entire store, and there was a man wearing a grey puffer jacket following us. (I know he worked there because he rang us out) Every 2 mins, he would either walk into the end cap of the aisle we were in and pretend to fix something, or he would walk across, staring. Another lady in uniform entered the aisle we were in SEVERAL times and stood next to where we were, adjusting product or moving things around, while glancing over her shoulder. We are all visibly Mexican, and we occasionally spoke to each other in spanish while in the store. Offended doesn’t cover it. We were made to feel like criminals and we weren’t doing anything wrong. I still can’t think of a reason they could have been following us other than the fact that we were Mexican. The store was full of other people, yet we seemed to be the only ones of interest to the employees. Maybe we will try shopping here again, but not...
Read moreI have been going to this location since the 80s and I was a little girl with my mom. It has changed hands between company names Ding Hao to Whole Grain and now, I LOVE how Park to Shop has saved the market. There are live fish, lobster, crab again and the fresh produce section has very crisp vegetables and a clean display. Nothing has been sitting on the shelf forever.
There plenty of new and quality Taiwan imports but also a lot of my old childhood favorites. I was so moved knowing that the market is now looking like its turning a new leaf and I hope Park to Shop puts this location back on the map. They tried so hard for so long, they deserve a boost and I'm thrilled to finally see the funding...
Read moreEven though I am not too familiar with the area, I just became aware that there was a small asian store in here. I came here for one item (Kewpie), I ended up buying some extra things. I might have to shop for seafood next time I run out from my place since they got fresh (alive and ready) for costumers who love seafood to how nature intends it. I only hope they never close since most of the time, these kind of stores tend to not do well when they are too hidden from the main road. I might have to check the food at the "International Mall" next to it and help the business with my review, hopefully their food will be on par with my...
