I just had the worst experience ever! I called ahead of time to ask if I can get estimates for costs of some jewelry repair. I told them I am comparing prices and I will not be dropping off my pieces that day. The lady told me to just come in and they can look at them. When we walked into the store, there was no one inside. The owner later walked over to us as I was talking to the lady about what needs to be done. He explained to me that he can’t fix some of the pieces because he doesn’t want to be responsible for damage of the more delicate pieces but he can fix some. As I was writing the prices down and he was to, he asked me if I would be dropping them off today. I told him I already told them ahead of time, I would not. I only wanted to compare prices and then I’ll consider where to go. I was being cordial the whole time and understanding that he can’t fix them all. When we weren’t even done with our conversation, he started to walk away and he went to the back and slammed a door. So I walked to his associate and asked her if we were done. She said since I’m not dropping anything off today it’s like I’m wasting their time. I told her I already said in advance that I would not but you still told me to come in. I told her to tell the owner that he was extremely rude and that’s not how you would treat a customer. He came back out as we were walking away and screamed at us and said “get the fu*k out of my store!”. Is that how any customers should be treated???! I was not even rude the whole time I was there. I don’t think I deserved that at all! I will definitely not go back there and I don’t think anybody should! Worst experience ever!! If I can give no...

My family and I have been enjoying our visits to Dolabany Jewelers for many years, both at their previous location next to Lambert's Market on Route 1 in Westwood, and especially, their new store conveniently located at 145 University Ave., off of Route 128, exit 13, Westwood Station. They share the same parking area as Marshalls/Home Goods, next to Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza, along with other notables such as Wegman's, which makes Dolabany's that much more of a fun destination.
The expert staff at Dolabany's is warm and friendly--super helpful but never "pushy"--and you can always rest assured that the large selection of beautiful watches and jewelry that they offer is honestly and fairly priced...a consistently excellent value...and that a thoughtful purchase will invariably make for a very well-received gift. I highly-recommend Dolabany Jewelers as your go-to place for special gifts for all occasions! Paul...
Read moreI have been going to Dolabany Jewelers for decades. The have done everything for me from cleaning to sizing my jewelry, including designing new pieces for me. The recent memorable pieces Sam and his staff have done for me: molding my Mom’s wedding band into a heart shaped pendant that I wear as a necklace, it is truly special; and as my engagement ring cracked from over 36 years of wear, they merged my Mom’s anniversary band and added more tiny diamonds to match it, it is a very beautiful ring, and I couldn’t be happier! The staff is always so very polite and helpful, I have recommended this Jewelry store to my friends who have also had special work done, and they are just as happy with Dolabany’s. They will work with you and help you with any questions you may have! They also have a huge array of beautiful jewelry, including Pandora and Cape Cod pieces. Their shop is easy to find at Westwood University Station. Please...
