New Mr China — Restaurant in Wethersfield

I have been going to New Mr China from the day it opened. I was so happy when they opened the doors again after the pandemic. I think this family is probably one of the kindest family I have ever met. I am disabled and very ill and they take such good care of me. I don't often get a hot meal because it it's difficult to cook. They make sure my food is hot, delivered quickly and always with kindness.

In all these years I have been going here I have only had a few problems with the food. They are quick to correct and make it right. So please contact them first before just handing out 1 star. Seriously they are so amazing! Thank you all for being so kind. 💜

Still my favourite place for take out. Been ordering from them for over 6 years now and the quality is still the best. I love that it is a family run business and they are all very kind. Ordering takes me only a few moments and they always bring my food hot and directly to my apartment door. Thanks for the great service! 👍

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The food is fantastic but don't ever plan on making an order for your family of five and receive everything The past 5 times we have ordered from them they have forgotten something, missing Either egg rolls or crab rancoons or quarts of fried rice, something is always missing. We will all be eating and someone in the family will have a missing item. Ok you say so they made a mistake I'm sure they rectified it. Well yes up until tonight. The man litterally accused me of lying because I want something for free. First off we always spend more than $60 so they have a coupon to get free fried rancoons and that is usually what we choose for the free item. If they weren't giving me a coupon I would happily pay for them. But tonight he said. I packed it myself I know it is there, well then talk to your driver. Then he proceeded to say and the last order you made a complaint of no egg rolls but the owner said he packed it himself so he knows it was in there. Well all I know is I have to find a new chinese restaurant to go to. I'm not going to be insulted like that and I told him that and he said "well I guess I you do need to find a new chinese restaurant. Just terrible! First and last time here. I ordered lunch and handed my card to pay and said I forgot to order an egg roll. They refused to let me order as the transaction already went through. As I had no cash, I asked for the gentleman to void the transaction and then add my egg roll which he refused to do. He also refused to let me order the egg roll because they require a $7 minimum order. I already paid more than that with my initial order. So no egg roll for me.
