I am SO happy that I hired Larissa Lake to do my wedding hair and makeup. Kelly and Olivia were such a pleasure to work with during my trials and on wedding day.

I was nervous about my hair because I am very curly and prone to frizz, and humidity always gets the best of me. Olivia worked with me on two separate hair trials to find the PERFECT style for me which held up beautifully all night long despite the humid June weather.

Kelly and Olivia brought the energy and positive vibes on wedding morning and were so much fun to have around while me and my bridesmaids were getting ready. I highly recommend this dream team!

I also recommend getting your pre-wedding facials from Maria. I had monthly HydraFacials for three months before the wedding and was absolutely glowing on the big day. All three of these ladies had me feeling so pretty on my wedding day!

I do NOT recommend trying to cover your tattoos. Kelly did a beautiful job applying the tattoo coverage makeup, but it unfortunately rubbed off onto my wedding dress within an hour.

A few comments on working with Larissa Lake as a company: make sure to pay close attention when filling out the services agreement. Once you sign, you can’t remove any services. I accidentally indicated we would have 8 girls getting hair and makeup when we in fact only had 7 (I counted myself twice). This was totally my error, but was frustrated to learn that I couldn’t adjust the count when I realized my mistake a few months before the wedding. I ended up paying for that extra person even though no service was rendered.

All in all, I am only giving 4 stars out of 5 due to the tattoo makeup fiasco and the frustration with the contract but I will always recommend LL to anyone who is looking for wedding hair &...

I cannot say enough great things about Larissa Lake and Co. I had Larissa, Marissa and Brittany doing hair and makeup for my wedding day and they were all absolutely amazing. I had Brittany and Marissa do my hair and makeup for a wedding I was in in the past so when it came to planning mine there was no question I was requesting them. They both were so easy to work with and totally understood the look I was trying to achieve while also offering their professional input to make it perfect. I had a large group getting ready on my wedding day and was particularly stressed about how we would all get ready in time but these three were the absolute dream team and flew through everything easing my nerves. Brittany, Marissa and Larissa made my bridal party look and feel amazing, and we received compliments on their work all night. Our hair and makeup withstood taking pictures outside on a very windy day. On top of all that they were just the sweetest and best to work with, they made everyone feel comfortable while in their chairs and helped make the morning of fun. Brittany even saved time at the end to do some light makeup on my niece which was probably the highlight of her day because she felt like one of the "big girls" and an absolute princess. I found Larissa Lake and Co on Instagram when searching for hair and makeup artists for my wedding day. To say I was incredibly happy with the results is not enough. I signed up for the signature bridal package, so I had an included facial in the package and had my hair and makeup trial in December. The trial went great, with Rachel (hair) and Natalie (makeup), making changes that I requested as we moved along. I had my facial (which I opted to upgrade) two weeks before my wedding, which was a great way to relax during a highly stressful period of wedding planning! Also, my skin looked so clean and fresh after the facial!

On the wedding day, Rachel and Natalie arrived promptly to my wedding suite ready to glam up myself, four bridesmaids and my mom. We had a great morning filled with a lot of talking and laughing. Our hair and makeup looked flawless the entire day! All of my girls and I were joking at the end of the night that our makeup looked as good at 11:30pm as it did at 11:30 that morning. They listened to each girl's wants and needs and executed it beautifully. As the bride, I loved my entire look!
