I need to start this with… I NEVER post bad reviews about places but my experience here was AWFUL
As an avid Pickleball player. I really really wish I had better things to say about this place but I don’t. I was there last night 2/16/24. The place is so incredibly loud you can’t hear anyone you are playing with. The courts are also really dirty and not well made. I ended up slipping and falling twice which is not normal for me from the dirt all over the courts and the quality. The courts are also really close to each other making it hard to get around the place.
The worst part was the employees. At my normal spot I play, the open play has a system, you play with new people each game making it super fun and giving you the opportunity to become a better player and to meet and I have been able to build an awesome community because of this. I was unable to sign up to open play it would not let me click on the open play courts, they had one spot available left so I asked the employee at the front desk if I was doing something wrong that made me unable to sign up, so I could learn their system his response was “you might not be doing something wrong but you aren’t doing anything right” instead of helping me. Then I asked him to just sign me up and I asked him if there was a system to their open play here and he said “uh 4 people play on a court and play” speaking to me like I was an idiot. I reiterated my question and he was extremely unhelpful and condescending. All I was trying to do was learn this new place and how they do thing and him speaking to me like I was dumb really made me uncomfortable. Open play SUCKED no one switches courts and people just play with who they play with.
All in all I freaking love Pickleball and the community I have built from it. I came into this new place with an open mind and excited to try something new. I will not be coming back until things are figured out and...
Read more3SP is my favorite pickleball club.
pros: pros jeff moulton and ashley oluschak!! these two are gems. the strategies, best practices, and drills they teach have greatly improved my game. they've got great personalities too :) their drill + play classes are my favorite, and i've met great people through them. programming: even players above intermediate can find engaging classes. most pickleball facilities struggle to keep higher level players engaged. because 3SP enforces DUPR ratings*, you're almost always guaranteed good games. this is great if you find it difficult to mix into good games at public park open play. *i acknowledge DUPR enforcement does have its pros and cons :/ pickleball no matter the weather: no anxiously checking the weather every few hours. no slathering on sunscreen :)
cons: climate control: i watched a tournament here in the summer, and it was uncomfortably hot for a spectator who wasn't even playing haha cancellation policy: the 3SP website isn't clear on it. i've run into issues trying to get a refund. they don't offer refunds, only credits. i've mentioned this to staff, but it still hasn't changed on their website. sound control: it's difficult to hear instruction on the courts
all in all, i love 3SP, and i highly recommend...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about this place. The facility is always clean, the vibes are always welcoming, laid back and amazing. But the best part is the people. I’ve met some of the coolest, nicest and down to earth people in my life—from fellow players and drop ins, to the remarkable crew. I’ve made so many friends and memories over the past 7 months, it’s hard to believe.
Shoutout to Adam Dyce, his knowledge of paddles is only matched by his brimming energy and wholesome enthusiasm about life and all things pickleball. He’s a workhorse who does an excellent job!
Shoutout to ANNA! She’s professional, fun, polite, and just an all around great person. She works hard but she’s never too busy to answer questions or just have a conversation.
Love goes out to Jeff and Ashley. These two taught me how to play pickleball. Ashley is incredibly smart, funny, welcoming and super sweet, despite her seemingly serious demeanor:). She’s an amazing teacher, very attentive and creative. Jeff is also a great teacher, very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and incredibly fun to learn from and be around. He’s also very intelligent but one of the most good-natured and jovial guys you’ll meet.
The rest of the staff are awesome as well! Thank you guys, for all...
