Yum yum yum! The young man in the kitchen is the owner, he is from Poland, and he knows what he is doing! My boyfriend and I are world travelers and we think that the food in Poland is some of the best, and the Pierogis Factory proves it! We each ordered the Polish platter which came with 6 pierogis, kielbasa, cabbage roll, beef goulash, sauerkraut salad, cucumber salad, and schnitzel (which is not listed on the menu for this meal). The owner asked us to let him know which item was our favorite, but it was not possible as everything was incredibly amazing! Honestly, we could not pick. I love cabbage rolls and this was the best one I have ever bad. My boyfriend does not like cabbage rolls and he really liked this one. The cucumber salad, kielbasa, and schnitzel were great, the pierogi were fantastic (particularly spinach & feta since that is unique), the beef goulash was just like in Hungary (high praise). With regards to pierogi, you pick your quantity (6-10, mix up to 3 flavors), flavor (potato & cheese, potato & onion, pork, sauerkraut & mushroom, feta & spinach, or daily special), sauce (caramelized onions & sour cream, green chili, tomato sauce, mushroom & cheese sauce, roasted garlic & parsley butter), and how you want them prepared (boiled, sautéed, deep fried – sautéed is the way to go). They also sell a large variety of homemade frozen pierogi. Come with a big appetite,...
Read moreI don’t write reviews often, only when the location warrants high praise for total overall outstanding satisfaction or if there is something that needs to be said to make a difference. I have eaten Polish food all my life being that I was born in Poland and have lived here in the states since I was 4 years old. Speaking from experience, the food here at Pierogi Factory is below satisfactory because it isn’t genuine. Pierogi Factory is an example of each dish they serve as being transformed into fast food with a lot of short cuts and takeaways from the original dish that it should be. My wife and I had the pierogies, which were just simply put flavorless. The Zapiekanka was poorly made with not the proper ingredients nor flavors. We also had the Red Borscht soup with pierogies and it was completely artificially made from powder, no beet flavor what so ever. Not even made of beets as it should. It tasted like hot red colored water almost clear, when it should be dark burgundy red from the beets. Unacceptable ! My wife and I both from Poland were greatly disappointed and taken away by the food at Pierogi Factory. If you want some genuine Polish Cuisine, trying visiting a local Polish restaurant and not...
Read moreReally enjoyed this place. As a real Pole who grew up in Poland eating authentic Polish food, I never have too high of expectations about Polish food served in what seems like a more Americanized restaurant. I had the Polish sampler and was pleasantly surprised by most of the items. For one- this is a massive tray. You could easily split this with someone unless you’re both starving. The pierogi were delicious (I tried one of each flavor since it comes with 6)- but the real winner was the caramelized onion sour cream. So good. The goulash was different than what I’m used to but delicious. The bell peppers and onion made it nice and sweet, and you got a lot of pieces of meat inside. The schnitzel was HUGE and nice and crunchy from the breading. Really everything was great. Maybe not 100% accurate but close, and so delicious that it doesn’t really matter. I did take one star off because the general vibe of the place is just ok. Something about ordering from a counter at the front inside a strip mall just doesn’t have the same appeal as a sit down restaurant. But the food did come out much quicker than it would...
