I’ve been a regular customer at this store for over two years. I usually have smooth, pleasant experiences, and I truly enjoy shopping here.
However, yesterday around 9.15pm, I had a disappointing experience at checkout. I was returning one item and purchasing two. Both my hands were full, so I placed all items on the counter and then immediately handed over the receipt and clearly indicated which item was being returned.
Despite this, the cashier (a younger woman) spoke to me in a rude and condescending tone, saying: “Next time, give me one at a time.” I was surprised, as I’ve followed the same process many times at your store without issue. Her tone and attitude were unnecessary and embarrassing — especially as other customers witnessed this exchange.
This isn’t about one sentence — it’s about the attitude she brought: not one of service, but of correction, as if I was doing something wrong simply by existing in her space. This kind of energy from a front-facing employee creates discomfort and drives good customers away.
I hope this is addressed through training or a direct reminder that customer service is about assistance, patience, and kindness — not...
Read moreStopped by this location earlier today...as I tried to pay my purchase with a $50 bill ...the system used to check autontessity of bill rejected it,he tried other units on other registers but all declined...he wasn't very professional ,rather imbaressed by how he handled it in front of other costumers! I proceeded to go to a bank few doors down and was assured $50 bill was autentic!! Did go back to Marshall's and voiced my complaints to another cashier and explained the situation and my dissapointment...i got and apology and told that the system has been giving them problems...really??? Should have taken the money and some info from me ,drivers licence...turnes out the manager was the one checking me out...Nice...
Read moreI used to be a regular customer here. They had a lot of cute products and nice staff. Kaley, Carolyn, Tonya, Heidi, Martha, and Violeta were very kind and helpful. They took the time to help me find the shoes, toys, and home goods I was looking for. I haven't seen some of those ladies in a while, though. Thank you for your help!
The reason I stopped coming here: Two of the managers were VERY unprofessional! They yelled at their employees for making mistakes. One of them rolled her eyes at an employee and called her an idiot! The other one refused to help a customer because she was “busy.” Maybe they had stuff going on at home. But don’t take it out on your employees...
