Updated-May 2025 Always up for a retry of a local business in hopes that things get better. Sadly, nope. Still saying it’s the same owner, but it’s not. I’m Chinese, the new people speak the same dialect as the previous owner meaning they’re 100% not the same. Food - portions were still small with higher prices, meats in dishes are minimal and old vegetables heavy, egg rolls were hard, & seasoning was either too sweet or salty.
I’m back on the hunt for a tasty Chinese restaurant locally. I don’t want to bash a small business, but with food and money-you’ll want to look elsewhere.
If you think this is good, I’m sorry you don’t know good Chinese food.
UPDATED REVIEW - Jan 2025 The owners have changed! Don’t let the person answering the phone lie to you.
After placing a couple of orders and asking if it’s under new ownership, being told no and receiving food that doesn’t taste remotely the same, I won’t be ordering again from Wing Wah. If the new ownership didn’t try to deceive the existing customer base by denying a change, I would have ordered with different expectation. The portions are smaller. The flavor is lacking and the quite salty. The chicken portions are cut much smaller and not as silky or juicy. The General Taos chicken recipe isn’t even the same anymore. Too much breading and tons of sauce, lacking in chicken and vegetables. The beef Cantonese chow mein is mostly celery with sliced carrots, slivers of beef and a very small container of Cantonese chow mein. The egg rolls used to be amazing. Now they’re hard to bite through, mostly the egg roll wrapper and cabbage. Not flavorful at all and not edible. As I’ve said, this isn’t just a one off - we’ve tried ordering several times with disappointing results. Save your money if you once loved Wing Wah, this isn’t the same restaurant.
VERY OLD REVIEW 2022 Craving tasty Chinese food? Wing Wah is our go to place to feed our cravings! I am Chinese and I can cook authentic Chinese food at home, but after a long day I just don’t want to cook!
I’m not related or a family friend. I’m just a really picky Chinese girl who loves really good...

Wonderful restaurant with just outstanding dishes. I frequent Wing Wah at least once a week. Richard even makes me a custom shrimp soup. From the soup to the dishes and appetizers I would give him 10 stars if I could. Thank you Richard for a wonderful establishment.
Oh Lord. 5 stars. I forgot how WONDERFUL the food is at Wing Wah. We have been frequenting other Chinese Restaurant because Wing Wah stopped their delivery (but you can use other delivery services Grub Hub etc.) We decided to order and pick it up ourselves. THE FOOD HERE IS FANTASTIC and worth the minor inconvenience of picking it up. Portions are huge. I can’t begin to explain how good their Mongolian Beef is. I’m not sure what they do but, the flavor is outstanding. It’s just different than the typical Mongolian Beef we get elsewhere. Packed with flavor and tender beef. We talked about it for several days. Shrimp and Broccoli was great and they are large shrimp and also deveined (where as others do not). I’m done going elsewhere and will order from Wing Wah from now on. Food was piping hot. Items are priced appropriately. Customer service good. My only complaint, if there is one, I wish they would make their egg foo young minus the yolk (as other places do). We will be back. ...
Read moreThe night my fiancé and I moved to the suburbs I knew I would crave pizza or Chinese food after unpacking all day. Chinese food won out that night.
What I specifically said to him that night was: "I want to find a Chinese food place where you can get good and big portion sizes, crab rangoon and combination fried rice for two people around $30." I started looking and found Wing Wah very close by.
My standard for a Chinese-food-restaurant-five-star-Yelp-rating is completely met by Wing Wah. They have huge crab rangoon (my food weakness) that is served piping hot and amazing Mongolian Beef that is spicy and comes in a huge portion.
Let me be clear: this is a Chinese food restaurant in a strip mall; if you are expecting some kind of spectacular seated dining experience, then Wing Wah isn't it. What it is: consistent. Place an order for take out and it is the same quality, temperature and portion size as dining in. I am so glad that we have a place like this so close to us all the time, not just...
