I ordered item S5348 for my friend’s funeral that was on Jan. 30, 2021. This item is supposed to be the FTD CIRCLE OF LOVE wreath priced at $219.99. After tax & whatnot, I paid $235.40. I asked the woman that took my order over the phone to send me a picture of the finished product, as I am in Texas and could not fly back for the funeral but wanted to send a nice display for his family. When I received the image of the finished product, to say I was shocked, would be the understatement of the century. Everything was wrong about the whole thing, but instead of getting upset, calling, yelling, I responded to the emailed image with what was changed & incorrect from the wreath I bought & how it could easily be fixed. I went one item at a time, said what was incorrect & how it can be corrected.
I understand that it says if certain flowers aren’t available, they will sub them out for like colored flowers, which is fine, but they CLEARLY have the needed flowers: 1-orange carnations, but pink roses are put in between that don’t match, 2-the yellow section has white roses, just use all yellow roses or all yellow carnations. 3-the blue section has white roses, just use all blue carnations, it looks like polka dots 4-they clearly have purple roses but put dark purple, almost crimson carnations in the purple that just about match the red. Just use purple roses 5-there’s not even SUPPOSED TO BE the whole WHITE section they just stuck in there between the yellow & the blue, that’s where the GREEN is supposed to be. 6- there should be NO baby’s breath, it adds white & it is supposed to be a fully colored wreath. 7- there was no bow on the advertised image, & the bow is just covering important color sections.
There is a VERY IMPORTANT order & structure of the colors on a pride flag, as each section represents a different, individual entity within the community.
My husband called and asked to speak to Howard whom we were informed, was the owner. He said he would get with the person who arranged it, Linda, have the adjustments made & send us a picture of it. Well, we received the picture...
After all that I sent to them, trying to help & show them what didn’t match the item I ordered & paid $235.40 for, the only thing they did was remove the tacky bow on top & use SPRAY PAINT to spray the white section “green”. That’s it. Not a single thing else.
We promptly contacted Howard & stated that it was not at all the product that we ordered & paid for, and that we think it would just be best if we just received a refund. His response? “I will give you a refund but I still have to pay the employee the labor she put in to make it.”
PAY HER? You should FIRE her! She is not good at her job.
Out of $235.40, they only refunded $128.40 He paid her $107 to “make” this monstrosity that I couldn’t even SEND to my friend’s FUNERAL?! Absolutely not. I will contact the BBB, FTD, and every possible review site available so that everyone can see the horrible business practices, the shoddy work, warn others out of town that their arrangements probably didn’t get delivered as is because they KNOW we are out of town and will probably never see it, the money that they TAKE from customers & provide ZERO service for, which I believe there is a word for that, it’s...
Read moreI attempted to purchase flowers from this shop for two separate funerals that are scheduled one day apart. After asking several questions, I finalized my order, and was ready to give my credit card information only to find out that they refusing to send me pictures of the completed work or of my receipt which was needed for a company reimbursement. She said that they were way too busy to take or send pictures. The receptionist told me that my receipt would have to be either mailed or faxed. When I told her that due to the fact that I could not get any confirmation that my order would be filled and delivered, as I am in MS, that I did not wish to proceed with the purchase, and she very rudely stated, "Good luck finding somebody that is actually going to do that for you around here."
I immediately hung up and called Bethani's Bouquets, who very happily took my order and said that they would be more than happy to send pictures of my completed order. Also, the flowers were were less expensive, and they only charged me one delivery fee, since they were going to the same funeral home. I consider that service with a smile. I was happy to give $$$ to a hometown business who very much values customer service.
Upon reading other Google reviews of this business, I discovered that they actually sent pictures of completed orders in the past, but I suppose due to the complaints regarding the quality of their work, they have stopped this practice. (See other reviews for further information.) This further solidified that I felt I had made the right decision in cancelling this order.

I do not live in W VA where this florist or the funeral home are located so I ordered over the phone. I gave very detailed instructions on what I wanted. I gave the order taker the name of the arrangement I had chosen, which was from their website, I described it to her, telling her the flowers it contained, reading the description from their website to her, & telling her the colors of the flowers, described the pot (urn), discussed the price, etc. Not one time did I mention red flowers. The arrangement I wanted was white, cream, blue & minimal purple with ferns . The arrangement that went to the funeral home was primarily red & white with small sprigs of purple and ABSOLUTELY NO BLUE. It's also full of babies breath. The arrangment I wanted had no babies breath. It had fern fronds for greenery but there are no fern fronds in the arrangement that went to the service. When I called to advise the flower shop, not once was I offered any compensation. Yet their posted return policy claims satistfaction or all or part of your money refunded.
