We walked in to inquire about a small wedding cake and cupcakes. The interaction seemed fine at first but once we asked about flavor options she immediately said it’s all online, understandable and to be expected these days but we are standing here asking. You would think she would be willing to give a few examples at least.
She then said to email her a request for a PDF of the flavors and options. We then went over when it would be needed, she said; we are booked three months out, the way she said came off as we were wasting her time by even asking for something sooner than that. She said she would go check her schedule and the date we needed was in fact open. She made it very clear that we would need to book within a couple days to secure that spot. We told her we would be in touch via email. Within an hour I had emailed her a follow up of our visit and what we needed and a request to see the PDF of flavors and options. She hasn’t responded to the email.
If she would have given us flavor options on the spot we would have booked on the spot. I’m only writing this review because of the email being ignored. I don’t expect perfection but I do expect the effort to be matched… especially after she made it clear we would need to get this...
Read moreI had a piece of white almond cake at my aunt’s birthday party and although it looked delicious it tasted dry. I didn’t see anyone eat more than a few bites of their piece of cake and no one accepted taking home leftover cake. I wanted to like this cake and see this bakery thrive because our area needs a bakery that makes delicious cakes from scratch(we’ve tried every bakery in the area we know of/have heard of/found via web searching). I also tasted a couple samples of baked goods at her party that tasted okay. I plan to try this bakery again because I believe in giving restaurants/bakeries more than one opportunity as every place/human has potential to have off days(unless an establishment has had a horrible interaction with my...
Read moreI am obsessed with this little bakery. Everything is homemade and the owner is a peach. They obviously really care about the business and the quality. They offer a variety of different flavors every day so if you have a sweet tooth like me you always have a chance to try something a little different. The doughnuts are dense but still soft and have a really fried doughy base to them they're immaculate. The shortbread cookies manage to both have a bite to them and still be fluffy texture to them. My favorite though has got to be the assortment of breads, I am convinced this has got to be the best sweet bread I've ever had at a bakery. Trust me on this one. One of my favorite small town secrets, just don't tell...
