My fiancé bought my ring from Kay’s in the Indiana mall. I went every 6 months got it checked but never really thought about it. I looked down at my ring at work the other day and saw that the diamond in the middle was gone. After frantically looking for it I called Kay’s and told them that the diamond was missing and I couldn’t find it. With no push back they assured me it was covered bc I have been keeping up with the checks. I took it in that night and the next day I got the call that it would have to be sent to the main office and with our wedding being in August they couldn’t guarantee that it would be back in time. As frustrated and sad as I felt they followed that with multiple options to fix the situation. Again no push back, no oh well sorry attitude. They cared and were compassionate the whole time. Francine, Denise, and the whole staff were so amazing with this situation that it gave me an even greater appreciation for this store. Read moreI had ordered my weddings bands from here back in March. I understand that they closed due to COVID-19 however, they never called me when they reopened to tell me I can come pick them up. I saw they were open at 10am online and I show up to the store at around 10:30. I was on my way to work and figured I’d pick them up on the way. I stood outside the half closed door that says “we’re reopening March 30 due to virus” on the front for about 10 minutes before someone noticed me and yelled to the other employees for someone to help me. She half walked to the door and asked me what I needed then proceeded with “we open at 11.” And walked away before I could even say anything back. You couldn’t just take the rest of the payment and hand me my stuff I ordered months ago? Online it says you’re open at 10, the sign on your door is outdated. Even when you do, they are still rude. I took my watch in to be looked at after just a couple weeks after purchase. They got defensive and aggressive because they thought I was insinuating them to be at fault. So I sent it out to get repaired and returned by time of graduation (tomorrow) they never called to say it's in. I called them to see if it's in. She said yes it is. When I asked why I wasn't notified that it was in her response was "it doesn't matter, it's here. Come get it" there's many more occasions other than this I can mention.
