My BF and I stopped here yesterday for lunch. We’re not local, but we were in Indiana because I had a post-op appointment for a foot surgery. This restaurant however was the only place I’ve ever been to where I was genuinely afraid of getting sick.
For starters, an employee nearly knocked me off my crutches. As I was following my BF to the other side of the buffet table, an outward opening door on the left was literally kicked opened and stopped short a foot in front of my face. If I had been a step farther ahead, I would have been struck. Lady didn’t even notice me or say a word.
The food was rancid. Everything looked and smelled off, especially what I’m guessing was the tempura chicken. We didn’t eat anything but the ice cream, because we didn’t want food poisoning.
There’s multiple signs displayed stating to “not waste their food”, but the only thing being wasted is your $$$ as a customer. $26.99 for ice cream. Obviously they don’t have any regard/respect for customers between their signs, demeanor, and food. I can guarantee they’re not eating what they’re...
Read moreToday was an absolute terrible experience here. The food was terrible, all the chicken was dry, the rice under cooked to the point it made crunching sounds as you ate it. The barbecue ribs were so tough that you could not cut them with a fork or bite through them ( the sauce was good). The Pepsi was bomb. My daughter and I both got instantly sick and had to rush home to flush our 37.00 down the down the sewage line. I stopped and politely told the owner guy and he shook his head said ok and walked away, no offer to correct or refund us. Shows his customer service skills on top of whomever the unskilled cook is that he has working there. This food was the best when they only had the drive through opened because it was fresher cooked in smaller batches. I recommend not eating here, unless you want nasty food that's over cooked, dipped in a yummy sauce, good soda and an owner that takes no responsibility for the poor quality they dump in the...
Read moreWe were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy, but they kept up with keeping the food supplied, it was hot & fresh. The quality was good. I was excited because they're one of the few buffets I've been to that serves chow mein noodles. Despite the limited space, they still have a nice selection of food. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's SO crowded. For example, the tables where you sit down to eat are so close together you can barely move your chair to go up to the buffet; which also makes it harder to get up to the cart where you take your dirty dishes. Another example is, they put food on a moveable cart right beside the entry door, so as you're trying to come in (or out of) the resturant there's people lined up there to get food. But that's my...
