St. Vincent de Paul Society — Local services in White Township

I have always liked this store. However, my June 8, 2018 visit has ruined me. I chose a pair of curtains on a hanger marked with tape. $1.50 was written on the tape. I walked about 5 foot out of the store when it occurred to me I was overcharged. I walked back in and found the same clerk. She was originally nice but really turned snotty when I asked her about my total. Immediately she pulled up the hanger that had $10.00 marked on the tape. The curtains had been covering that. And the $1.50 tape was still on it. I asked for a return and she kinda chuckled, looked at the other Brown haired girl there and said no. I get it. I got snookered. They tricked me into paying more. Caveat Emptor! Was it really necessary to be openly rude? How is that helping people? I accept the loss and am lucky my budget can take a hit l I me that. I feel sorry for others that are tricked and then snickered at. Ill never shop there again, nor any of their stores. Neither will my friends. I hope that $8.50 laugh was worth it. They've lost several loyal customers. I hope the woman with the white, roller set hair finds...

The store is nice, really cluttered with stuff but that's fine. I was browsing their selection and the man who was cleaning the floors told me I was trespassing because I was taking too long to decide what I wanted and I should hurry up as it doesn't take long to buy things.
