Before this incident, my review of this place was 5 stars, but after a recent incident, I don't feel as much I do not believe this store deserves 5 stars anymore, why you may ask? Simple, I went into the store for a birthday present for a friend, and while in there a blonde haired lady who was behind the register walked from behind it and asked us if we needed any help that didn't come off as hostile, because obviously they have to say that when you walk in, it's just what they tell you to do. Well, after that, we started walking around the store, she then started following me and the other people we had with us around the store, as we were looking around continuously asking if we needed help or if we were looking for anything. Now that wouldn't have come off as strange if it wasn't for the fact that she did it to absolutely not a single other person in the entire store, just us. so I was already ticked off enough by that, but then I asked for her assistance to get something off of the wall and while doing so in front of my dad his friends and me she said to us "whoever is smoking weed in here needs to stop there is kids here" now maybe that could have been taken as something she was saying to the entire store, but she did not say it loud enough for that it was definitely directed towards us. I'd like to note that 3 of us ARE MINORS. Without any access to that in the first place.so then do you continuously make us uncomfortable throughout the entire store and then to accuse 3 minors and a 40 yr old man of smoking weed in the store??? As soon as she got said object off of the wall, I immediately said, I didn't want it anymore, and we walked out of the store. I was going to purchase it, but if your employees are going to be hostile, I'm not paying their bills by shopping there. it's insane that it's still ok for people to profile people off of the...

I've been at this hottopic every day at 8am for several weeks looking for my favorite xmen character The phoenix. The hot topic store clerks will not give me any info on the release. I was ok with that because I thought that everybody was getting the same answer as me. Until today... Like everyday this week I went early to go see if phoenix will release I was the second person out of three at the door waiting. Clerk gave a chase to customer number one, skipped me and gave the second chase to customer number 3. when I confronted her about it she said they were on the list first. If there was such a list why wasnt I put on it before. She had seen me many times before, I asked her about phoenix and she never mentioned a list. Also nobody but them knew that phoenix was being released, all they bought was the chase then left. Very unfair and it shows favoritism to certain customers just because they know them. When you release items online it is first come first served which is fair. But at this store there is no sense of fairness, I missed out on the glow in the dark phoenix because of people taking advantage of their position and having favoritsm with certain people they know, who knows maybe they have a side business with this people. Out of all my pops she has been the only one that I have waited and hunted like that for, just to be disapointed with the unfair way the store...

Everyone is always willing to help you out. The manager is wonderful too. However reason for the 3 out of 5 stars is because everytime I have bought or was gifted a necklace, ring, earrings or bracelet they have came broken. I have returned and exchanged 3 necklaces and 2 bracelets in a matter of a week apart. Even though I didnt have my receipt for one of them, they gladly exchanged it as long as it was the same one which I did gladly appreciate. Please do something about the quality of your jewelry though. I still have a broken bracelet, and earring once I took it out of the package it fell apart... I used to love it here and now I'm worried about shopping here. I will edit my review with...
