Hi everybody. So today is September 9, 2024 and in May 2023 I purchased three blinds/shades for my home. Then I had extreme unexpected medical issues and after they were resolved, the blinds went to get installed and I realized that I could not install these type of blinds in my home. I brought the original receipt. so I came to JCPenney with the blinds and they’ve refused to take them back because it’s past 60 days. They said they wouldn’t scan into the system. I politely asked them to please try. No was the response twice.. So now I’m stuck with $100 worth of window blinds I can’t use or return. J C Penny….. hhmmm. Seriously???? Ok so I called the corporate office and they were brick wall. So I’m standing in penny’s debating what to do. so I asked to see the store manager. The store managers name is Mark and after explaining my situation and providing the receipt, he did go over again the store policy with me 60 days, blah blah blah. However, Mr. Mark. Went above and beyond And got my blinds returned to the store with the return on the card I purchased them with. He and Steph seriously needs some positive recognition for turning a very, not nice situation into a happy day. Due to them, I will change my rating from one star...

Here for some reason there was a $10 reward that shouldn’t have been there. That’s fine I wanted the stuff anyway but they wouldn’t give me the percentage off that was given at the time of my purchase. The issue was not my fault and I was told there was nothing they could do for me and that I was going to have to pay the full price of the item. I told them to cancel my order because it wasn’t right that I had a coupon and because it ran out and they made the mistake of leaving the $10 offer on the app that I couldn’t use it now because it was no longer available. Read moreA lot of great deals. Reasonable price for what they offer. Today I enter the store around 5 p.m. and stay till around 7 p.m. there were very few customers in the store and I noticed the store had a few tripping hazards and the shelves were in what I would say dismay for the type of establishment that they portray. I've watched the store transform its floor into what looks like a high-end fashion store which I really like. I just wish they would keep it neat and clean. Also the restroom needs an update. In the men's room there is a peephole in the stall that has been there for at least 15 + years that I can remember. People will fill the peephole with toilet paper but it's never been properly repaired. The staff does greet you and are very friendly and helpful when needed . Attached are photos...
