Ordered two chopped brisket sandwiches today for lunch, really wish I hadn't. Service was great. Ordered over the phone, and food was brought out withing five minute. The food however was HORRIBLE. The "Chopped" Brisket was more like pureed. It was completely mush and didn't resemble chopped brisket at all. And for some reason they have either switched to a mustard based sauce, or they put a ton of mustard on our sandwiches. Either way, the sandwiches were inedible. We ended up putting them in the trash and getting fast food. Almost $18 for 2 sandwiches just to put them in the trash. This is likely the worst BBQ I have had in the 21st century. Prine’s used to serve outstanding BBQ. Not anymore. First and foremost, you have to order from your car. You find that out when you walk up to the front door where the menu is posted. Unless you are graced with clairvoyance you will need to order from the front door. In the heat. Or the cold, take your pick. Lazy and poor customer service. The meat lacks flavor and the ribs we ordered came with a chunk that was inedible. That I paid for. The sauce was watery and cold. Now let’s talk about the beans, potato salad, and cole slaw. You know, the normal sides one gets with a family pack. Well, there are none. Little disappointed. Ordered a sliced brisket plate and sliced brisket sandwich and pimento cheese as a side. They ask to put sauce on it probably so they don't have to give cups of sauce. Sauce seemed thin and greasy. Brisket was good not great. On the brisket plate sides were beans and banana pudding. They put all 3 in styrofoam container probably to save cost of an extra cup. Bean flavor banana pudding is not a trend I see being successful. I thought about the smoked bologna sandwich glad I didn't try it saw someone take bologna from walk in and cut it.
