Brief background: my husband and I are always trying to find “the perfect gift” for my husband’s parents. What do you give to people who don’t need anything? I’ll tell you! You give them an awesome experience! I reached out to Debbie, owner of The Sterling Fork, with an unique proposal- could we hire Debbie to be my in-laws personal chef for an evening at their home. Fine dining in the comfort of their own home. Our goal was give the ambience of a fancy restaurant without the hassle of getting dressed up, driving into town, waiting for a table and dealing with noisy patrons. Let me tell you, Debbie embraced this project with enthusiasm! Her precision to detail, her preparation and execution was amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure my in-laws had a wonderful meal and experience! All of the meals and desserts we’ve tried from The Sterling Fork have been fantastic! The home delivery has been very convenient and Debi treats you like family both with her cooking and her kindness. She will also accommodate our picky eating and will leave out the mushrooms or other items at our request.
