Deuce P-2 — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

I have been partaking at P2 for 30+ years and I understand it’s not somewhere you go if you are in a big hurry. However, we waited 1:20 (during mid afternoon) before getting our cold food. The last several years, all the friendly waitresses tell the same story, “we’re shorthanded.” So today was no different. Not enough staff to serve the average amount of people there for a average Saturday afternoon. It took a good while to get the first visit from a waitress. Then even longer wait to get menus and food took even longer amount of time to get, and all the food came out cold. Waitress stated she could’ve refunded our money before she served it to us if we would’ve known it was cold. Which made no sense, how would we have known it was cold until she served it to us. Our tab for two Burgers, fried pickles, tater tots, two sodas, and one lg special beer was $48.00 before tip. Little steep. Waitress was nice the few times she visited us. With that being said, my thoughts on why this keeps happening. Is it poor planning on the owners behalf to staff accordingly for the last several years or are they trying to save the $2.13 an hour that...

Maybe P-2 isn't everyone's cup of tea but WE LOVE IT!!! It is a come as you are kinda bar! Did you just get off work and you're all dirty come on in, we'd love to serve ya are you all dressed up with nowhere to go? Well come on down to the Deuce P-2, we'd love to serve you as well! Do you just need to relax, unwind, and have an ICE COLD BEER? WHATCHA WAITING FOR? THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PLACE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME AND MORE THAN WELCOME!!! OH YES, & I MUST NOT forget about the SMOKIN HOTTIES that they call waitresses!!!! It's just one of those kinds places that you must visit at least once, you haven't lived till you experience...

Find new waitress. Super rude, took one person order and left didn't ask anyone else what they wanted there were 3 of us? She kept telling us she can hear us? How we hear her and each other. She could have walked to my window but she seemed to be preoccupied. Needless to say I did not leave a tip. And I doubt I will go back. This place has an expectation of who you as the customer are and if you don't fall into there expectation don't expect good service. I brought 3 people to enjoy red draws and steak on garlics. I would have spent well over $100, but she wouldn't let me. If you are the owner know your waitress is costing you money...
