Sitting in my car after my unfathomably horrendous experience in there...so if corporate comes to check the reviews ever, please check the cameras to verify what I’m about to say. 9:45-9:52AM on Thursday May 23rd 2019....I’m extremely ill today and taking care of a toddler at home, I came to get medicine and coffee. A lady in the cold and flu isle who worked there didn’t look at me or ask if I needed help. Her filling cart was taking up a lot of space so finally I asked where the DayQuil was...I wish you guys could have seen this woman who clearly HATES her job. She raises her Finger as if a zombie pointing to prey, rolls her eyes bigger than I’ve ever seen and doesn’t say anything. Well that was definitely the rudest and most challenging to wrap my mind around happening that I’ve encountered all week.
THEN, I see my total, and it’s too expensive. The lady in the vest, Latina lady perhaps a manager asked if I found everything okay. I hesitated and said “Well I wanted to find cheaper DayQuil than this, but the lady who “helped” me in the isle was extremely short and rude with me so I just grabbed to what she pointed to and left the area.” To which this unbelievable garbage human replies, “Mmmhmmm thanks have a great day.”
Is this a Wichita thing? I’m newer to the area, from a Fort Worth and if people want to keep their jobs there they don’t treat customers as if they killed their puppy for absolutely no sane or logical reason. WTF is wrong with people?????? Needless to say, I’ll not be going back to this one, I’ll be moving my prescriptions I fill elsewhere and notifying my insurance company. Thankfully I have a big following on social media as I plan to share my Walgreens experience with the lot of them. No place who hires people who ruin customers days because they personally hate their jobs or lives is going to get any more business from me and I’m going to let as many people as I can know about it. It’s my civic duty in a time where choosing to be a consumer wherever we do choose should be valued in...
Read moreThis place was better than any Walgreen’s I’ve ever been to. Auntie Joe almost fell over, but the strong muscly man helped her up before it got ugly. He looked it me with a twinkle in his blue eyes, as the Wichita air blew against my cheek. I shook his hand, as his charming white teeth were revealed from underneath his soft, perfect lips. I was welcomed with hope in the air. Hope that me and my family’s torn relationship would be repaired…but more than that happened. Our visit was filled with tears, secrets, and self discovery. I never knew Auntie Joe’s pain until we went to the makeup aisle. It even got my son spewing out tears of joy from his adorable little eyes. I finally understood why our relationship was so strained. We had never discussed our truths and values before, even though they were the key to love. I bought my Post-it notes, and they were perfect as could be. The atmosphere was amazing, with supportive staff left and right. As I went to checkout, I still had a tear in my eye. The muscly cashier looked at me. “Are you okay?”, he said…I nodded. “Yes”, I said, looking off into the future of hope, “I’ve never been more okay.”
Best place ever, 10/10...
Read moreCame in an hour after my wisdom teeth were pulled. They said they couldn't understand the voicemail left an didn't try an call my dentist back. Then told me to come back in 20 minutes, they will call the dentist. They were closed when I came back. Hints I came back after they reopened an they said the dentist didn't answer, so I'm going to have to call them an have them call back. Then there computer systems said the prescription would be done at a certain time so I came back an nope they told me 15 to 20 more minutes. Worst experience hands down 3 hours 20 minutes after my surgical procedure and barely getting my...
