The food was very good. Large portions and well priced compared to other takeout restaurants. I do recommend placing the other ahead of time. You don't pay until your order is ready.

Make sure to grab a menu and circle what you want so it's easier for them to let the chef know what to make, since everything is made fresh to order. Lunch and dinner peak hours are very busy and there is only 1 lady taking orders, busing and checking people out. So please be patient with her. Our food was out in 15-20min. We ate inside and still had leftovers for the next day. Definitely recommend! We got, sweet and sour chicken with rice, chicken lo mein, orange chicken, chicken wings with rice and extra egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Food was really bad and exspensive for the quantity and quality. Ordered Generals chicken and it didn't taste like any Generals chicken I've ever had. Very sour, and almost like a sweet and sour or alot of duck sauce or something. Didn't even eat a quarter of it. Ordered some crab rangoons and when I got there they were just cheese rangoons. The cheese rangoons were super small. Not your typical rangoon wrapper. I thought ordering during the lunch hour would save money. The Generals chicken was advertised at 7.95, but my bill was 17.00 for the 2 items with no drink. Absolutely a horrible price for the meal. How could this meal be more exspensive than a decent sit down restaurant? Really...

While the food IS the best Chinese in Wilkes and I truly adore their kind staff, they really need to update their contact methods. More than one phone line is a great start. Many, many times I can just not get through to place an order, so I have to order elsewhere.

They don't offer online ordering, which is just fine, but with the heavy customer traffic in store and via phone with the phone line always busy, it can be super frustrating. While it is my favorite Chinese restaurant, I rarely get eat here unless I walk in to order because I can't get through on their busy phone line.
