25 N Hwy Several visits over the span of 06/14/2024 - 06/17/2024 Easily visible with easy access. Plenty of parking. This is a really nice small town store. It is clean, well stocked with nice displays through out. Shelves and goods are faced nicely. While small, the produce department is appealing with great display as well as fresh produce. (We got fresh corn one day and it was delicious). Meat department is equally appealing with great prices on beef! Associates appeared to be busy, stocking, cashiering etc. I did not notice anyone just wandering around like they didn't have anything to do. Only one evening I went in around 5 pm to grab some ice and the line to check out was getting long with only one cashier. I don't know if there was another on staff who could have been paged, but it would have helped. Overall, I recommend shopping at the Williamsburg IGA. They are Hometown Proud, please support small business such as this. If you deem this review helpful please...
Read moreUsually has a smell of rotting produce which is odd cause they don't really have any, the meat section is small and way overpriced ,even the quick sell about to go bad or is already bad meat is more expensive than anyone else around for fresh meat. A portion of the frozen section is frostbitten to the point it's not worth buying . What deals they do have isn't worth dealing with the one grumpy cashier that talks down about customers or always thinking everyone is stealing and has no problem complaining about it to the customers. Not a bad customer service experience when she is outside smoking and others are working...
Read moreThe store is clean and it is very easy to grab what you need and be in and out if you're in a hurry. Employees are also very nice. Prices are really high though, so I do not do my routine grocery shopping here.
Edit: I pulled my review down to 1 star after stopping in here to grab heavy cream. These guys are charging nearly $7 for something you can buy at Walmart for $3. Whoever is in charge of pricing should be ashamed of themselves and I honestly don't know how people afford to shop here. They have a sign out front saying local means fresh, I guess it also means unnecessarily...
