Panera Bread — Restaurant in Williston

I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, but after the last three visits, I can no longer rate this place 5 stars. We live about 30-45 minutes away, so every time we go to pick up food, we expect it to be correct and ready to go. Unfortunately, the last three orders have been wrong.

Here are the main issues:

Receipt and Packaging: The receipt should be stapled to the bag at the pickup shelf, but it’s never there. Most of the time, the food is just sitting on the counter, sometimes not even in a bag. It's disorganized, and it's not clear which order is which.

Service and Staff: When we asked if our food was ready, one staff member just sneered and said, “Is it on the counter?” No offer of help. We had to ask for a bag and a drink carrier. At that point, we just wanted to leave. Other customers were also searching for their food, and where obviously upset.

Customer Interaction: People were standing around for long periods, looking for their orders, but no one greeted us or offered assistance. One couple told me they stood there for 15 minutes before they just went up to search for there order no one acknowledged them. It's frustrating to see employees hanging out and chatting while customers are left unattended.

I'm ify even putting four stars. of course the food is always up to par, but God the wait staff are the most miserable looking group of girls. they lack manners or even a fake smile to put on the customer service play, it's sad. I e a t here pretty often, today Zak took my order and was delightful. I'm an unusually easy person to deal with and I ALWAYS smile if I'm making eye contact of any sort at anyone. I've notice the girls who work the floor all have blonde hair so I'd that narrows it down cool. I've never had one of them ask if everything was good or how I was or even a damn hello. it's truly disapointing. I have decided not to eat in because of how uncomfortable I feel in there. I grabbed my togo food and the cook with glasses wished me a good night VERY polite. I have had nothing but good service from everyone besideZ the floor girls. the last time I was there a girl with glasses was working the register again, delightful. to wrap this up, I work in customer service, very very very strict customer service, very personal too. so my relations with customers are expected to be no less than wonderful, I'm not asking for that here. but a damn smile back would be nice, a whispered hello, I'd take it. The broccoli cheddar bread bowl is to die for. I highly recommend the half Sierra mist half papaya green tree as your drink of choice. You can sub out the standard bread for a bagel for no charge so I got an asiago bagel frontega sandwich. A whole one so it came on two bagels sliced in half. Though they can make a dagwood sandwich with double ingredients on one bagel if you wish. The chips were kettle crunchy and fresh.

Aside from the crazy customizations you can make to get a perfect craving satisfier, the price is really not bad if you get menu smart. Everything is an entree. They don't sides unless it's an apple baguette or bag of chips. For example. If you order a pizza, you can actually add on a sandwich for a reduced price. If you order a U pick 2 with a drink you can get a standard bakery item for just a dollar.

When you get into the store itself. The staff is top notch. Food is out very quick, accurate, and made as if they were going to eat it themselves with strong presentation. If there is any issue, just tell the staff in the kitchen window and it'll be resolved with no fuss. If you have an issue with an order once you get home. Just call and it'll be made right as well. Just let them know.
