Recently moved up here from Florida, only person to ever touch my hair previously was my mother who is a hair dresser of 24 years.. going in I had done my own color removing treatments on red hair dye. Stuck at the pinky/orange color, Got to a point where I knew I shouldn’t go any further on my own..

Heard a bunch by word of mouth and through social media of this gem of a salon, so, I called in yesterday morning and they got me in touch with the owner of the salon very promptly to start the process of my appt, within 24 hours she had me sitting in her chair and working on getting me to my desired out come. 3 hours later, a team of three AMAZINGLY TALENTED hair dressers, Trisha, Emily and Siera, and I left without words to even explain my excitement! All I could say was thank you repeatedly. Everyone in the salon was so welcoming and made me feel calm and welcomed without question and instantly. The salon itself is so so so cute and so tastefully designed. I’ve never seen one quite like it! Also, have you ever been offered a bean bag to rest your feet one? Cause I haven’t and it was definitely a great offer, something not every salon thinks of! Can’t wait to return...

Today was my second time coming to Roots to see Maureen. I absolutely love this salon. It has a really cool vibe, lots of bright colors and just a happy place. Maureen has been fantastic and is super sweet too! I first went in to get a significant hair cut and she took her time to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. The cut came out really cute! I went in today to finally get highlights again after not having them done in forever. I absolutely love the color. Again she’s great at explaining the options and providing opinion on what would look best which I appreciate. She also gives a great head massage. You can also have her do eyebrows or your nails while your color processes. I got my brows waxed and they’re shaped perfectly. I also enjoyed hanging out in the massage chair while my color processed.

From start to a new relationship with Roots, Tricia (along with Megan) has been beyond amazing! Not only was she quick to respond to my first message, but continued to message me asking me many questions to get to know me, and my style before meeting. I walked into a warm greeting with a smile! She was honest with me about my goals that I wanted with my hair. She was not so sure what I wanted was realistic right away, but Tricia is a true artist! Yes I do have to go back for my final result, but what we thought would take a huge and long process, will happen in just 2 appointments. I’m so happy with my experience and with my first set of results, I’m so excited to see my end results with this style and continue to try many more styles with her. Not to mention her salon! So damn cute, cozy and relaxed!...
