I don’t make many reviews, unless the experience was something to note, and tonight it was just that type of experience. I am only making this review in hopes that management gets this issue rectified with their overnight staff. On April 9th, 2023, I visited this 7-11 convenience store location to get gas and buy 4 jazz cigars plastic tip. Unfortunately, I did not check my purchase of the jazz cigars when I left. However, when I arrived at my destination, I notice the elderly lady who works over night did not provide me with my request. I stayed at my destination and planned to stop by on my way home to inform her that she did not provide me with what I requested and asked for an exchange. The items are the same price. I returned that same night to speak with her. The elderly lady I am referring to is an African American woman, who wears glasses and has a 1995 finger wave hair doo as what she decides to present atop of her head. She informed me that I requested 3 sweet cigars when I informed her I did not. As you can see by my photo attached, I requested 4 jazz and got 2 jazz and 2 sweets. I smoked the majority of one of the jazz’s received. It’s a common mistake I’ve ran into at other 7-11 locations and never have I ever had an issue with exchanging said cigars once staff noticed the common mistake made. She proceeded to argumentatively tell me what I requested and that I had been gone for x amount of hours and that she KNOWS what I requested. This is not customer service. I am not sure if she was having a bad night or if she just maybe did not want to be at work this night, however, I witnessed this same behavior from her with a customer before I made my purchase in the same night which she incorrectly gave me. I am making this review so that management is aware of the level of service your employees are providing. In my eyes, this was disgusting and disappointing as I’ve never been treated this way at any other 7-11 affiliated establishments. She also proceeded to continue the conversation with another customer after my exit of the store. Situations like this are very uncomfortable and will definitely make me think twice about attending this location. It’s not about the cigars, as I can purchase the correct ones from another establishment, but more so about her attitude and how she treats patrons which makes me want to go to another establishment. I hope this review is taken into consideration, and she is spoken to, regarding her disgusting behavior. If she’ll act like this about cigars, I’d only wonder how she treats anyone else on her mistakes with even...
Read moreI was needing cash back & was told I could only do $10 cash back. I’m assuming it’s bc I had a water…but I was also wanting to get gas. $10 for gas then $10 for quarters for my laundry. The older white dude who works in the AM had an attitude with me when I cashed out bc after he gave me my total….when I told him I also needed cash back….he was all huffy & puffy telling me how I was supposed to do it on the screen when the screen never even gave me the option. It wanted my pin # & that was it. I was needing gas & to do laundry before work as I clean for cancer patients & commercial properties. His attitude was so beyond rude & the nerve he had to be frustrated with ME lol. If you hate your job so much don’t work there! I’ve worked at a gas station in the past. Decided working in customer service wasn’t for me. Make the switch my man life is only so short. Thanks for making me late for work & ruining my mood...
Read moreOk first of all, this isn’t a 7-Eleven anymore it’s an On The Run. Which was fine until about two weeks ago when they decided to start closing at midnight, much to the surprise of people like me who Iive down the street in a neighborhood lacking in convenience stores, let alone ones that are 24-hours. And I can even be quasi-supportive of them wanting to close at midnight. I get it.
What I am Not supportive of, however, is when I actually finally remember that they close at midnight and make it a point to be there before 11:30 PM…only to find the door locked and the cashier standing at the counter on her phone, ignoring me trying to get her attention and then when she finally sees me, shakes her head and goes right back to her phone. That’s some grade A bull-oney. So I will walk the extra six blocks to 7-eleven from now regardless of what time of day it is because frankly…that...
