(I gave a 1 star only because i had no options to put NEGATIVE 10).. I posted reviews previously, which also are not the best due to staff, product availability, so on so on. This time on my review the only thing I'm going to put down or ask is if you like rude, incompetent staff, staff members ranging from managers to the actual cashiers and stock being unprofessional and blaming you for all the incompetent things going on, (this is your location, "Flamingo and Sandhill" * GET-MNGR/short young Hispanic girl & David Cashier**) my goodness CEO and hiring staff members the green Dollar Store, please start vetting what's going on in your stores with your staff members starting with the management all the way down. Or maybe you just don't care about your customers and clientele??... *Previous Review; This location is closest to my home, so unfortunately I tend to be going to this location 3 to 5 times a week. What I have to say about it.. location is a hit a miss with good & extremely bad shopping experiences. With that being said, this particular shopping day was one of the more extreme ugly, bad, unprofessional shopping experiences. With all that being said, my main thing in this post is to let everyone more so the higher up management to see what their cashiers are like & are doing. The cashier (Amber) it was very unfriendly, unprofessional, understanding.. would not look at me or the gentleman behind me because she was having a hissy Tiff over having to push a couple more buttons on her register. When either he or myself would talk to her she would turn her back and act like she was doing work or something else. I do know she was listening because when I mentioned something that was a benefit to her she turned around and looked at us, but mind you still never made eye contact with this because she was still upset. Now I've been coming to this store for years, this lady AKA Amber AKA cashier, is a really, really new employee. Dollar Tree needs to vet a little better who they're hiring.. if I could I would keep traveling the half an hour to another location, just to get away from this stores bad attitude, awful professionalism, nasty demeanor & understanding of the customers. I would never ever recommend this store to anyone...
Read moreI have had two (2) bad experiences in a row. First time, a couple months ago, the place was packed, but two cashier lanes were open. I chose a lane along with two other customers... As we approached and placed our items on the belt...HE looked up from checking out a customer and announced he was going a break. Leaving the three of us to maneuver over to the other lane.
Today, a Monday morning, I approached the same male cashier and placed my items on the belt only to be told it would be awhile because he was in the middle of a transaction and the customer had gone back into the store. Seriously? "Sir, this a dollar store...we can't have several lanes open" was the snide reply. "yes, but perhaps cancel the order and re ring whenever the customer returns." "I'm not a manager, sir"...and the the Manager was out of the store on a delivery...... As other customers queued up behind me, he literally huffed and said I'll try and find him.. Eventually, the customer pushed his way past the four waiting customers to complete his transaction. I understand that this "just a dollar store" but does that fact necessarily automatically create poor customer service? I would hope not, I have two factual experiences that...
Read moreNancy is very unprofessional, my nieces were looking at pens. Nancy the cashier got mad and told them that’s enough. I than told Nancy is there a problem and she said that they would break the pens because they were pulling off the lid. So i told her if they were to break a pan we would pay for it. She than got upset and said you guys don’t have to shop here and i don’t have to service you. When we literally just stayed quiet. She than got the microphone and called the manger and said through the intercom “ manager to the front i have difficult customers “ when she was the one giving us attitude the whole time. Vicky her manager came up and didn’t do anything to resolve the issue instead she took her unprofessional cashier side . I will never give them my business again.
