TARA IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She knows absolutely what she's doing! Know how to communicate with their pt/cx. If it's not because of her I won't come back in this location anymore! But, I will still go back because of TARA! The customer service is beyond outstanding , excellent.
We came back on this location because of TARA, but comeback to a disappointing appt and if it's not because of Tara I swear not to comeback here.
I don't know if the staff is new, no idea BUT TO REPEATEDLY INSIST TO CANCEL MY APPT TO CALL INSURANCE WHICH DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE AS 5 OUT OF 6 of MY FAMILY MEMBERS JUST FINISHED WITH OUR APPT LAST 2 WEEKS EXCEPT 1 CHILD WITH THE SAME INSURANCE. SHE IGNORED WHEN I ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR OR SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP.
We go to Pearl Vision for the last 2-3 yrs or more w/ the same insurance just diff location. Just happened to be change this time as we needed a replacement eyeglass for my toddler which they have availability on the days I'm able to go. Since we need to bring the other kids we decided to make an appt for the rest of our kids except for one which is not due the ff month as per insurance, we did see the doctor with my other 2 kids on this location except for 1 which we did after 3 weeks.
Went to the appt and the lady said that they can't see her as they can't find her in the system and her insurance was been cut off since 2023 or you're going to pay out of pocket w/ this price and so on. I explained to her that is impossible as we just did ours including mine, my husband, 1 kid (on diff location) and 2 other kids on their location w/ the SAME INSURANCE for the last 3 yrs and its impossible that only her that is not on the system. I even ask to run the name again w/ her other last name or including the other last name together because we have the same situation couple yrs ago when we do a follow up from our usual location. After all explaining she still doesn't understand the fact that the insurance doesn't have to do w/ the situation. All she does is REPEATEDLY, PRESSURING ME TO CANCEL MY APPT, CALL INSURANCE AND MAKE ANOTHER APPT WHICH DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE and ignored what I asked her. show me a paper stated the 2023 coverage and I explained again. At that point I am already agitated but I don't want to be rude as she keeps INSISTING TO CANCEL MY APPT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN to the point that my plan was just going outside the door and call CS or the other location for help but not to cancel, but as soon as I get up trying to think and figuring who to call first SHE INSIST AGAIN TO CANCEL MY APPT AND I WAS SO AGITATED ALREADY THAT I ANSWERED CANCEL IT. Went to my car and call Pearl Vision CS. Explained what happened and what is going on, in less than 10 mins she was able to pull out my daughters file and told me that she put us on 2:10pm schedule, when she find out I was still outside the office. Even CS understand my frustration and stated that is impossible as she is minor and this is under a family file and knowing she's been w/ pearl vision just diff location and as they should be able to see it. Give me instruction that if they still not able to see it, ask for MNGR when I told her that I asked for a supervisor to help they just ignored what I ask, KEEP INSISTING TO CANCEL APPT, CALL INSURANCE AND MAKE ANOTHER APPT prior calling her was getting frustrated as well. We went back inside before I hang up and explained again that I just hang up w/ CS of PV and she was able to pull out her file, put us on 2pm sched and stated she put a note on the file. she run again and there it is to find out they were running it wrong. They want us to be on a walk in basis but told them no CS put us on 2:10PM schedule even after I explained it again. THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN IF SHE LISTENED WHEN I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR/MNGR WHO KNOWS THE SYSTEM BETTER BUT JUST IGNORE WHAT I SAID AND KEEP PUSHING ME TO CANCEL THE APPT REPEATEDLY. Chris at the front desk was extremely helpful, thorough, polite and professional. Made an appointment for Tuesday. Arrived on Tuesday.Chris an another employee greeted me by name outside the front door they were cleaning. Wow!!! The Dr was extremely patient with me through all my questions and multiple contacts to get them perfect. A rarity these days. And then next was Tara....what a pleasure...I have never had prescription glasses before so I was lost....so many to choose from... and she found the perfect fit for my face and personality...she truly has a gift. The patience from her again answering all my questions, explaining all the costs, what choices I had etc. Awesome experience from start to finish. 10 stars...
