Casa Amigos — Restaurant in Winchester

We went to go try this place for the first time and we didn’t even get passed the front door . They promoted a free / cover live music event so we wanted to try dinner there. First thing is, outside was a security who carded one of the girls with us and was completely rude , lighting the ID and staring at it for a long time, It’s a restaurant so that was weird already off the bat (we are all over 21 years of age) . secondly there’s a guy at the door inside the restaurant waiting to greet you and proceeds to say “This is the deal here” you each pay $50 per person ( 4 x$50 = $200 ) and the server will serve you until you reach the $200 and after that the consumption will be charged on a tab. Terrible first impression and immediate red flag. We laughed and walked away . What kind of place is this ? It’s shown as a restaurant but they try to treat it like a club or what is the deal. Either way this place is a complete disaster and scam ! Avoid this place and go to a real restaurant where you can be greeted , seated and order the food you want / spend what you want . Not be forced to pay an upfront fee when the place is not even worth trying and promoting a free family friendly event / restaurant . To think this was the first time we were gonna try this place and give it a chance , they lost potential loyal customers and gained someone who will make sure to let everyone know they should...

Now when I go to pick up my food after a 30-40 min WAIT they tell me oh we only have chicken tamales. That's fine whatever. But that took another 10 mins . Now I get home and the Tamales are COLD I have to put them in the MICROWAVE. Another thing the hostess she doesn't know a word of English doesn't understand a word I'm saying . Put her in the back where she belongs and have a English speaking hostess for the love of God . I went to this event they were promoting for mothers day of Nicaragua, so I decided to go, first thing they told me it was 50.00 dollars per person and it would be credited towards the food, I asked for the menu and they told me they didn't have any menu for that special event only three items, but they didn't even know the items, They had told me the Folclorico was going to start at 4:00 PM We waited till 6:00 PM and finally it started two hours later. The place was very empty, the worst thing was that the Dj incharge blasted the music so loud that you couldn't even enjoyed the performance from the folclor, I definitely regret wasting my time to go to the place casa hermanos, we left at 6:30 PM and decided to go eat some where else.
