Beware of the lies and manipulation you will receive if you end up dealing with Katherine, Todd, or their sales manager Phil. I purchased an “Akins Gold Certified’ 2021 Ford F250 from them. At first, they seemed great and were very nice and I was convinced I was going to have a good experience. Boy was I wrong. So first off, they tried to lowball me over $4,000 on my trade in and still before it was over shorted me $1,000 less than its actual trade value according to Edmund’s and KBB. (This dealer did this to me 2 years prior also when I attempted to make a deal with them on another truck but I left.) Then I made it very clear to Katherine that I only wanted my credit ran by a MAXIMUM of 3 banks and I wanted Ford Credit to be the first. So far I’ve received letters from 7 different banks they tried my deal with. Katherine and Todd lied stating that Truist was the first bank they checked with and that I was “immediately declined”. Low and behold guess who I’m financed with… AFTER hitting my credit more than twice the times I authorized for no reason other than taking bids on how they could rip me off the most for their own benefit. I also discovered after the fact now that they marked the interest up on my loan over 2% more than the bank actually approved me for. That’s the definition of “thieves” in my book!! Also, Katherine asked that I put $5,000 down in order to get approved, then on the day I finally made the deal Todd called me stating they needed $10,000 and basically threatened me saying that they marked the truck available still and would sell it out from underneath me just to try to manipulate me into to putting more money in their pockets! I declined and gave them the lower amount originally agreed upon. In the website pictures the truck came with two keys but they only had one that was broken that I noticed immediately when test driving. Katherine and Todd both agreed that I would get two new working condition keys. I get there to pick up the truck and she hands me the broken key and no spare. You would think “gold certified” would mean that everything is in good working order and all original basic things that come with the vehicle new would be there. NOPE. The handles to lower the spare tire and lug wrench were missing, cup holder rubbers missing, fuel cap tether broken, wiper blades garbage, brakes pulsate when stopping (rotors need turned), left front wheel hub was locked in instead of on auto, and the left turn signals had a bulb out. We also worked in a spray in bed liner on the deal. Katherine stated she would set appointments with service and Wild Willie’s for us to get everything taken care of. Days passed with no call from service or Wild Willie’s so I had my wife call to check on the status. Both stated they had no idea what my wife was talking about and had no orders on my truck. So they both called Katherine and Todd and they proceeded to tell them they had no idea of what we were talking about. Then of course things got very ugly on our side and when we proceeded to raising hell calling them out they “remembered” what we were promised and scheduled everything for the following Monday. We decided to show up early at 6:30am on Saturday to get things settled up with the service department and they were actually great and got two new keys made, fixed my blinker, etc. I never told them about the brakes because I’m just sick of dealing with this dealership in general and will fix them myself. The sales manager Phil was not happy about us showing up and tried to push back on getting things done early with the sales department and had a little attitude when we went and had him called up to the lobby so he’s just as big as a pile of garbage as his sales team which isn’t surprising. Last but not least we dropped the truck back off Sunday night for the bed liner on Monday. Wild Willie’s did great on the spray in liner but somehow scratched the left bed side of my truck pretty bad and didn’t reinstall my bed cover correctly that they removed to do the job. 5 trips within 2 weeks. We will...

Read moreMy service experience with Atkins is the past has always been very good. This past time was the worst car experience I've ever had anywhere. I dropped off my car for a scheduled recall on 12/19/24. The morning of the 19th, my car had a flat tire. When I got to Atkins, the service advisor Brandon informed that the work could still be done with the flat tire. Also, the check engine light had been on, so I asked them if they could give me the codes, which he did. I hadn't heard anything from anyone since dropping the care off, so I called on the 23rd only to be told they hadn't started the work due to not being able to move the vehicle because of the flat tire. Had I known this on the previous Friday, I would've ordered a tire at that time. I informed Brandon on 23rd that I would order 4 new tires and he said they would be in the morning of the 26th. I called Brandon on the 26th to inquire about the tires and was informed that he was off. So, I called back on the 27th and was told that the tires were in and I would receive an update the vehicle. I heard nothing back from Brandon on Friday. I called Saturday the 28th, only to find out the service department wasn't open. I received a call on Monday the 30th, stating the work was almost done. I later received a call that same day to inform me that a part was needed to complete the recall and the vehicle would be finished on the 31st. I received a call from Brandon on the 31st telling me that the vehicle was ready for pick up. I went there and paid for the tires and picked up my vehicle with my son. We stopped at the nearby gas station and my son opened the trunk, only to find the entire trunk assembly was not put back together. We then drove back to Atkins where I asked to speak with a service manager. The assistant service manager Katie assisted me and was very kind, helpful and apologetic. She immediately had my car back in the shop and completed the work in a short amount of time. I had always received good service at Atkins Ford, this time was not the case. I was very disappointment and dissatisfied with the level of customer...
