Big Rave to the El Camino Real in the new location across from Aldi's. The food and service were excellent. We drove home, about a 15 - 20 minute drive. When we arrived home, my heart sank, I realized I left my wallet at the restaurant. I usually have just credit cards in it. Today I had over $200 in cash. I called the restaurant in hopes of at least getting my credit cards back. The gentleman that answered the phone told me the wallet had been turned in. I asked if it still had cash in it. I was surprised when he said yes. I drove back to the restaurant. They gave me the wallet. I was amazed, all the cash was still there. I asked who found the wallet. He said it was the chip girl. Her name is Lucia. I thanked her many times and gave her a tip. She tried to wave the tip away. I made sure she took it. She has blond hair and wears glasses and she serves the baskets of chips. Someone that is that honest needs to be acknowledged. If you see her, thank her again for me. I hope the restaurant...
Read moreI normally don't give bad reviews but I felt this had to be said...The first time I went the restaurant was not very busy there was 5 of us, it took about 10 minutes before they came and took our order, I ordered some nachos, my son-in-law ordered their Hawaiian fajitas with ham and pineapple, it literally took 50 minutes for our food to come out mine was cold and the chips in my nachos were soggy. My son-in-law's Hawaiian fajitas had no pineapple and they replaced the ham with sliced hotdogs with no explanation. I thought maybe they were having an off day so we tried again with a group of people which was reserved the room a day or 2 prior. And only had one server for around 25 people we ordered at 1:00 the first dishes didn't come out until 2:30 and half the orders were wrong we felt bad for our server we know he was doing the best he could considering the circumstances, the management should have been better prepared, I don't think I will be going back...
Read moreThe advertisement is misleading as this restaurant itself is very far from being authentic or Mexican. Walked in, immediately was turned off by the latino rap. Reggaeton played during our whole visit, and if you’re Spanish speaking, this is very inappropriate for children to listen to. The staff is all male but not gentlemen. Black faux leather seats, faux marble tables, miniature crystal chandeliers, loud vulgar music. Nothing honorably Mexican at all. The service was minimal and passive. Consistency was not present as my husband and I ordered the same thing and came out with two totally different styles of dishes. The server said it was due to two different cooks making the same entrees. They didn’t offer to fix it either. We tolerated this visit and will never go back. It’s so sad to see Mexican food be...
