The Mill — Local services in Windsor Township

A wonderful piece of history in Jefferson county. The procurement of the Mill has been kept as it once was originally intended. It had been many years since I had been there. Needless to say I was mesmerized by the architecture and the beautiful lady who is the proprietor of the Mill. The atmosphere is so very inviting. I walked in and was immediately drawn to the counter where a precious cat greeted me. Then the lady greeted me along with a happy dog wagging her tail with vigor. She was so very kind enough to load my chicken feed and straw. My time was limited but, I am returning to again admire the love and maintenance of the Mill. Tastefully decorated with arts, crafts, lights and items for pets and farm animals. I suggest everyone needs to visit the Mill and the lovely lady. The lady and gentleman who work at the Mill are so friendly and full of ideas to help us with what we need. They are very knowledgeable about their different products for those of us who didn't know the difference in hay, straw, different types of corn, etc., when we first went there. We've never been there and left without what we needed. Just drop in and look around. My first trip was with my husband and was pleasantly surprised at their selection of even things other than just for a farm like pet supplies. Their pets are also cute and friendly. I like going there as it's a break in the day and as tho stepping back in time to what life was like 100 years ago. I am a truck driver, and I have delivered to this store quite a few times. I sadly, no longer work for that company, "Prince Corp". BUT The lady of this store..I believe her name is "Mary". Such a sweet lady, and I am really going to miss our little chats. A kind, soul. Reply, if you would like to keep in touch. I wouldn't mind that.
