I was desperate for a place where I could just be a nerd without worrying about what other people thought when I stumbled into tatertot… what I saw when I walked in was nothing short of the perfect nerd oasis… funko ✅ new comics ✅ back issues ✅ magic ✅ Pokemon ✅ vinyl records ✅ sports cards ✅ 3D printed goodies ✅ an amazing staff of people ✅ Speaking of the staff… these guys literally know everything there is to know about comics and the culture that surrounds it. If I could give this shop more than 5 stars I would! They do an amazing job of not only making everyone that walks through their door feel welcome and comfortable, they kill it with their pop up comic cons and parking lot sales, they engage with their fans on facebook, instagram and whatnot as well as the community… so if you’re ever in the Arnold/imperial area you’re doing yourself a disservice if you do not at the very least stop by and just take a look around! Walked into Tatortot Comics just to “browse.” Three hours later, I emerged with a bag full of comics, a new Funko Pop family member, and an inexplicable but intense craving for more Red Bull than I will ever need in my life.

The staff? Absolute legends. Brandon knew which Batman arc I was talking about based on three vague adjectives and a hand gesture. The other Two helped a kid find their first comic and honestly, I almost cried. It was like watching a Jedi pass down their lightsaber (Not in the Anakin way).

They’ve got everything: Marvel, DC, indie comics, manga, vintage stuff, action figures, posters, and at least one life-size Yoda who judges your purchases but in a supportive way.

10/10 would recommend. 11/10 if you bring snacks and prepare for a wallet...
