A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Arnold Township

Took a long time to get our meals via the drive thru. I don't know why, because there was only one other customer at the time and he was eating inside. We ordered 2 drinks, but received 1 straw. I ordered ketchup and onion. They forgot the onion, and the burger was tasteless, but the bun was very good. We had bought 2 glass mugs while we were there, because it had been decades since I had A&W. They had us pull up because another car came through. So, when they did bring out the food, they forgot to bring the mugs. They eventually brought out 2 dirty mugs, but the worst part of the whole deal is the logo they decided to use on the mugs was I don't even remember what it said. I assumed the mugs would have A&W prominently displayed. I'm going to give the mug to somebody I don't like, for Christmas. Nothing tasted like before and it didn't even taste good. Root beer was too diluted. Girlfriend liked the root beer float. Hotdog bites were way too expensive at $4.80 something for 10. Apparently, we were supposed to receive sauce with the hotdog bites, but we werent told so. It was on the receipt as "Sauce: No Sauce". So, we had to ask for ketchup, because "let's not waste a ketchup packet. And, we were out-numbered 4 to 1 by the employees on this slow rainy Saturday in July, so a logical person would not expect such a weak performance...

Hated this place!!!! We dined in and it took forever to get our food, and wen we did get it, they did not give me my fries, so I went and asked for what I ordered and was given a bag of fries, BUT...the fries were luke warm and very well done..brown in color, so I go up and confronted whom I thought was a manager...turns out, he's the OWNER...I told him I wanted fresh fries(I mean, why shouldn't they have fresh, nice golden fries to hand me?? They were so busy inside and outside the store..)..so, the owner went and got me a new bag of fries, BUT IT WAS A BAG OF FRIES FROM THE SAME BURNT BATCH!!!..I told him forget it and idw his fries either. You kno....the man didn't even offer an alternative..no onion rings, no cheese curds...NOTHING!! So, fast forward to my burger...COLD AND DISGUSTING, plain & simple, and the bun fell all apart the moment I took a bite. The owner DID apologize abt the bun...but still, It was just a bad experience altogether..from start to finish. I did NOT enjoy this place like I did wen I was a child, growing up in st Charles w the old fashioned A&W, w the car hop!! Will NOT return and WILL spread the word abt how horrible the service...

For entering the front door is just a mess, dishes piled up at every trash can area, the soda dispenser was just mutilated with soda thru out the front of it. The soda machines ice dispenser had black particles that came out in my cup and didnt see it in time til i put soda in the cup and see the particles floating to the top. I went to the caschier and told her and she remade the soda with the drive thru dispenser. The cashier tonight some old lady I would guess her name is Trina, poor attitude, no smiles of welcome, wanting to get our order and get back to whatever was happening in the back. There's this little youngling that was in charge of the fries, onion rings and whatever is in that collector just takes his hand with a glove on and decides to take out some fries and starts eating them in front of the public and never changed his gloves at all. Just a little note for it being 7:15pm and slow wow the lack of cleaning is the worse thing I have seen in this place and I've worked many restaurants and kept the place clean no matter what position I was working. My family will never eat here again its very unsanitary and disgusting to walk into a...
