I’m a loyal customer to Luxy Nail . The spa in Dr. Phillip’s is amazing great customer service and masterful technicians.I went to the Winter Park location this morning . I had an exquisite experience with Alina. My issues started when I went to check out. Alina advised that I should purchase a cream to prolong my pedicure, So , I started to. The lady at the front, I do not know her name, but she had Huge, fake pink lips. I asked her to place the deposit and the total on the card in hand as I usually do in Dr. Phillips. She told me she was not doing that. I then asked her what credit card I had on file because I normally use the Amex. she said she had no way of knowing and she couldn’t tell me that in a very nasty, disrespectful tone. When I asked her about the cream, she was rude, so I told her not to worry about it. When I tipped Alina in cash she snatched it for me and threw it on the counter. At this point I’d had it. I told her I never receive such rude customer service in all my life from a place such as Luxy. She was the straw that broke the camels back. I took the money and walked it back to Alina. I normally feel so empowered and uplifted after I leaving my paper session at Luxy .I love this place and rave about it to anyone who will listen.. I left cranky today I left unhappy today. I left disrespected , as well as treated unprofessionally today. I will never be back.! Alina is worth the 1 hour trip, however The manager made this a very bad experience . My suggestion, train her or get rid of her, she is bad for business. A bad review travels, 25 times faster...

Top notch! I came here back in December to treat myself to a Russian manicure I kept hearing about after having done my own nails for over a year. I will never go back. It is more expensive than your traditional DIP or gel manicure but the results are 100x better! I get them done now once a month and sometimes I have gone longer. You can’t tell! Two weeks honestly looks like 4 days with the regular process. I can not and will not ever go back. It’s a longer appointment but I promise you won’t regret it! Mani and pedi, just solid color can be about 3 hours. But it’s worth it!! There is NO chipping, NO cracking and the most important of all, no matter how long I’ve gone in between appointments, there is NO LIFTING! I am hard on my nails too.

It doesn’t feel more expensive because of how it’s set up. You have to pay a deposit, which is half of your total appointment at booking. So if your next appointment is 4 weeks from there, you already forgot about your deposit (which goes towards your balance) so when you do check out, it actually feels like you’re spending less. Girl math.

The girls here are incredible and everyone is so nice! The salon is so darling and welcoming. If you have been wanting to try this I highly recommend this place and book with Oksana, Alina or Teva. I know the other girls are just as amazing but I have personally seen them. I can’t recommend this place enough....

a friend recommended luxy nails when i was admiring her nails and i’m so glad i made that first appointment! i spent years doing my own nails with just regular polish and i wanted to try hard builder gel to reduce breakage.

i chose iryna at the winter park location based on her glowing reviews and examples of her work i saw on instagram. i’ve been twice and both times i’ve been so so pleased. iryna is so sweet and very professional! she works meticulously but still quickly and very gently.

overall, the salon is very clean and has a welcoming vibe. sometimes salons can feel chaotic and noisy, but luxy felt a lot calmer and much more like a professional environment.

also all the techs are very attentive. like during my appt, i noticed the girl at the front desk had stepped away for just a moment (probably to make a cappuccino for a client bc they do that there and they’re delicious!), and someone had walked in, and like three ladies stood to try and go greet them while someone else went to get the front desk girl.

highly recommend booking in! 🩷🫶🏻 (1st photo are my natural nails and then 2nd and 3rd are right after both appts - look at the cuticle work!!!)

7/22/25 update: still going regularly and still loving it! i changed techs early in 2025 due to scheduling, and oksana is also fantastic and would recommend her to anyone 🫶🏻 she’s so kind and really gentle when working...
