I can’t say enough good things as this small review will not suffice, absolutely stellar & Incredible service. Michelle adds a truly personal touch to the intimate dining experience. I quite like the setting as it is very quiet and we are able to get away from the hustle and bustle of work, school, and the outside world. As for the food: unbelievable! I’ve had experiences with other Turkish restaurants who you can tell reheat the food in a microwave. That definitely was not the case at Zeytin. It was a pretty good sign that I did not get to meet the chef Z, as he was grinding in the kitchen and turning out food at a speedy rate even though that type of freshness is incredibly labor-intensive. The flavors were immaculate and delicate, it is definitely a top-tier Turkish restaurant & probably the best I have ever been to. I quite like the take they have on the different flavors of meat, as each restaurant has their own flair and spices. Hands-down the best thing we had was the Esme (spelling?) A delightful slightly spicy and sweet roasted pepper spread that pairs stellar with the Lavas (bread) and hummus. We will definitely be coming back and I will be bringing my friends and family! I always read the bad reviews on Google but I really got a kick out of the ones for here because the things that some people are claiming or imagining are so so far from the truth. The team at Zeytin have really knocked it out of the park, And I’m hoping they can open a bigger restaurant / market one day as is there dream. Coming from someone who has worked a long time previously in the service and restaurant industry (and now in the medical field) I am absolutely blown away that a team of two can make this incredible food, atmosphere, and business run as stellar as they do! Michelle even checked on us and brought us drinks while we were waiting for a table while she attended to a full house, as it was our first time and we didn’t realize that we needed a reservation. Truthfully we were seated super promptly, but she still took the time to come check on us and give us updates. Again- I can’t say enough good things as this small review will not suffice,...
Read moreZeytin is a Turkish restaurant that has left me speechless with its exceptional hospitality and mouthwatering cuisine. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in two outstanding dishes: the Lamb Saute and Lahmacun.
Let's start with the Lamb Saute—an absolute masterpiece. The tender pieces of lamb were cooked to perfection, bursting with rich flavors that were enhanced by the aromatic blend of spices. The sauteed vegetables accompanying the lamb added a delightful crunch and complemented the dish perfectly. Each bite was a harmonious symphony of flavors, leaving me craving for more.
Next on the list was the Lahmacun, a traditional Turkish flatbread that surpassed all expectations. The thin, crispy crust was generously topped with a savory mixture of minced lamb, vegetables, and fragrant herbs. The flavors were expertly balanced, creating a delightful combination that was both satisfying and addictive.
Beyond the exceptional food, Zeytin's hospitality was second to none. Michele and Chef Z were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their cuisine. Their recommendations and knowledge of the menu were invaluable, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
The ambiance at Zeytin further enhanced the overall experience. The cozy atmosphere, combined with soft lighting and tasteful Turkish decor, transported me to the vibrant streets of Turkey. It was the perfect backdrop for savoring the incredible flavors of the dishes.
I cannot recommend Zeytin enough for those seeking an unforgettable culinary adventure. The combination of impeccable hospitality and delectable dishes like the Lamb Saute and Lahmacun make this restaurant a true gem. Whether you're a fan of Turkish cuisine or simply looking for an exceptional dining experience, Zeytin is a must-visit.
I wholeheartedly give Zeytin a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. From the moment you step in until the last bite, this restaurant will exceed your expectations in every aspect. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary culinary...
Read moreI stumbled upon this spot on Google after seeing a ton of great reviews, so I decided to check it out, and I’m really glad I did. It’s a cozy, family-run Turkish restaurant that feels like one of those hidden gems you’re always hoping to discover. The place itself is pretty small and unpretentious, but don’t let that fool you because the food and the service are both top-notch. Honestly, I was surprised it wasn’t packed on a Saturday evening because it definitely deserves to be.
We started off with a sampler of four appetizers: baba ghanoush, eggplant sauté, tabbouleh, and a creamy, yogurt-based dip whose name I can’t remember, but every single one was excellent. Each had a fresh, homemade flavor that you just don’t get at big, commercial places. I kept going back and forth trying to decide which one was my favorite, and I still couldn’t pick.
For the main course, I went with the lamb sauté, and my wife ordered the okra sauté with chicken. Both dishes were bursting with flavor, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that went into the cooking. The portions were generous too, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
Service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Overall, it felt like the kind of meal that’s prepared and served with pride, and that’s something I really appreciate.
If you’re craving authentic, mom and pop style Turkish cuisine with rich flavors, generous portions, and genuinely warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be back, and next time, I’m...
