Store Front
The condition of the store floor was concerning, with multiple unclean spots that reached an unhygienic level. This issue needs immediate attention to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
In addition, I want to raise an issue regarding a specific cashier. This individual, a male employee with a rainbow flag displayed on their name tag, was working the cash register during my most recent visit. Unfortunately, this employee seems ill-suited for the position. I have visited this location numerous times, and whenever this person is at the cash wrap, the line becomes excessively long. It often appears as though they need to be prompted just to process a transaction.
This individual struggles significantly with the checkout system, resulting in delays and a lack of basic customer service skills. While I do not expect an engaging conversation from a cashier, there are fundamental interactions that should be handled effectively. For instance, when I asked them to confirm whether my rewards information was correctly entered—due to noticeable difficulties—they failed to communicate properly. Similarly, when I requested a receipt, they seemed unable to manage this basic task smoothly.
I believe addressing this matter is essential, as it detracts from the overall shopping experience and adds unnecessary frustration for customers. Grooming Department
I would like to be clear that I have never thus far had a single problem with the grooming department. They are so great with my fur babies and do an...
Read moreJust went in about an hour ago to buy my 2 dogs food and treats etc. after I walked the entire store and drove out of my way to go there so I could get my dogs food, I go to the register and wait about 5 minutes to be rung out and the worker at the register asked me if I had cash I replied “no I’m paying with my card” he then told me alright well we only are taking cash right now and can’t take cards then grabbed my cart and wheeled it away saying I’ll hold this for you. I followed him asking what he meant thinking he was insisting for me to go to an atm or go get cash somewhere then come back and purchase my items and mind you I had refrigerated dog food that can’t be out for long than a few hours. So I then asked well can any of the registers which there were 3 open, could accept card. He said “no we’re having problems right now we only have cash” so very frustrated needing my dog food with a cart full worth almost 400$ I left and went back home with nothing. Plan on calling tomorrow morning to see if cards are being accepted then going back to purchase my pets things, very upset with my experience which is normally great just don’t think that should’ve happened to someone who’s shops there constantly and spends extensive amounts of money especially with the price of gas and taking the time out of my day for nothing hopefully they’ll be more prepared for when this...
Read moreThis location has disappointed me several times with the lack of knowledge for the animals they are selling. Animals are housed in inappropriate enclosures and are being fed improper diets. PETCO SHOULD NOT SELL CHINCHILLAS! Pet stores faced a big problem with the selling of rabbits since family’s buy them not knowing the amount of care they require and there are thousands currently in shelters because of this. Rabbits are no longer sold at pet stores for this reason. Chinchillas should be treated the same! They require tremendous amount of care and the enclosures set a horrible example of how they should be cared for. DO NOT BUY A PET IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR IT AND ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE IT THE CARE IT NEEDS AND DESERVES!!! I can never return to this location because of how much my heart aches seeing the animals in such poor care. I’ve reported this location and never heard anything back, tells you how much they really care! Shame to everyone...
